You can make your own sandwich at the brunch buffet.  I hope Irish Breakfast tea is OK, but you can order anything from the autobar.

We got a few inches of snow here in the great lakes. looks like winter is fighting back. suppose to be 45° tomorrow so this will all probably melt...

could I get

nice bowl of oatmeal with brown sugar.

a mug of coffee and some apple juice.

it' s a manic Tuesday... Monday-Repeat!   I need a double of anytyhing   good for energy - Non-dairy please. Although Mary's order sounds like the PERFEXCT Comfort Food for staying Warm And Toasty inside with the Snowy Weather out!    We got down to 38 overnight and still has a bite of cold in the air in Hoostin when oormally we may b in the 70s by now.

I came down with a bad head cold then got bronchitis like I always do after a bad cold. my stomach problems are back to so I have to watch my diet again.

but I am feeling better. working on another picture oil pastels this time.

I need a concoction of "Rock Candy" - filled, "Bloo Lightning's '10- X'es' Brand 120% PROOF" Home Brewed Corn Squeez'ns with a dash of hotsauce and a hint of lemon...i think the bug hit me finally...........been fighting it's presence for about a week and that ole sneak waited till i went to sleep , catching me unnaware and pounced-making its domain for the next 2weeks for sure.............ugggggggh.

Whoa, there, pardner.  What you need is a big bowl of our famous chicken soup with a big matzoh ball and eggies, nice and hot.  A mega-dose of Vitamin C (1 gm. daily) to boost your immune system, and a nice shot of this Remy XO, suitably warmed in this snifter to sip with your soup.  Try to enjoy, but eat it all up.  We'll keep your Cognac refilled, and when you are done you can have a green garlic sandwich for dessert.

 

We are going to either kill you or cure you.

Thank you, Mary and Mr. Moose!  Yup i always take for granted when i can breeeth and  not ache each time i move a joint lol.  i am about to log ojut. actually beginning to doze and nod from the medicienes as i type.   Mr. Moooooose!  If i could  jump on a plane right now id be there for the full-cycle while in taking that regimen each and every day!   Even tho 'food' isnt appealing to me right now.  - THAT sure got my taste buds attention and sounds VERY good right now!  You know how much i love a pot of homemade chicken & Egg Noodles spiced taste - but your pot of chicken soup with matzo&Eggies - and Cognac for after dinner treat lol -  sounds so much tastier than plane chcken & eggnoodles.   ok i am hitting that backspace and spellcheck too many times now.   this last sentence typed as my eyes are 'seeing double'  lol   (

Yesterday we had a state funeral for Jim Flaherty who had just stepped down as Minister of Finance.  He'd only been gone from that job for a couple of weeks and had a massive heart attack that killed him outright.  The PM declared a state funeral which has only happened three times in our history for someone who was not currently in cabinet or the governor general.  In his honour, the Jameson's is free for all until the weekend.  He deserves a good old Irish wake.

 

It was notable that everybody in the political world, including the governor of the Bank of England attended this event in person.  The full ceremony and mass was broadcast live from St. James Cathedral in Toronto.  The Cardinal Archbishop of Toronto was present as our boy only converted to the Anglican church when he got married.

 

For a politician, Mr. Flaherty was much loved.  He also saw us through the 2008 recession with little or no real damage and privately did a great deal of work with the disabled.

Thank you Ms Mary!  Feeling much better!  Gingerale (slushed like an ICEE) has been a great friend! Will be off work for anothre week (yay!) and boy, dont take for granted when Knees, elbows and the likes feel ok.  last week was a monster
