Hey, Mr. Beer! Glad to see you pop in here again. Unfortunately there's no story this time, but pop back in here again so you can enjoy more!

Hello, ironicepitome. That's true, although they weren't abandoned for long. There were a whole bunch of houses that were perfectly good that were demolished. So the building stock in Moraine had a net loss.

Yo, DCMetro34. They aren't the future. They're NAO. Hope you come back soon.

Yello, N106. Are you a psychic? What will my career be? Who will I be married to? Anyways, I'm glad you're getting the message about the current way things are going in modern American cities. I hope you come back soon.

Wassup, CG? Thanks for stopping by. And that parkway ISN'T nice. It is clean and new and has good interchanges, but cuts off downtown from the other neighborhoods.

Yo, Benedict. Glad you could stop by, and I'm also glad you liked that graphic. Stay tuned for more!

Welcome back, Dan. I didn't know 95 would've gone through DC...but I guess you nailed it on the head! Thanks for stopping by!

Hello, TmiguelT. Thanks for the comment! Putting something in the middle isn't the top priority on Moraine's mind. THey would rather introduce more high-speed thoroughfares.

Thanks for stopping by, packersfan. Glad you like what's gone on so far in my journal. Make sure you stop by again!

Welcome back, chrissc94. That's exactly what I had in mind. Just like suburbs, with a bigger skyline. :/ Glad you could drop a comment and I hope you come back again!

Hey, Hawk. Thanks for the comment. I forgive you for not making your 1000th post in Moraine... 3.gif

Hello, mightygoose. Lurker? Flipping cj channels? Either way, thanks for stopping in and leaving a kind comment.

Wassup, Larkz. Thanks for the comment, and I hope you drop by again!

Small update tonight/this morning. I have introduced back a Weekend Drive from the Skagit County/Loretto Valley days!!

facinating, judging from what youve said aboot Crabford i belive that Compton, LA, California would be an excellent sister city for it 9.gif

Welcome back, DITRO. Thanks for the compliment. Don't worry, it won't be depressing for long!

Hey, Larkz. Moraine Ohio? It's Moraine. Not a specific US state, maybe somewhere in the Rust Belt, Chesapeake Bay, or somewhere in between. But not Moraine, Ohio.

Hey, Dan. Glad you like it. That update was in honor of you! 3.gif

Sup, CG? Nice to see you pop back in here. Glad you like the drive, and abandonment is what Moraine is all about!

Hey, DCMetro34. Thanks for dropping by and leaving a comment.

Hey, ironicepitome. You're right about Crabford, lol. Let's say Crabford is the Compton of the East. 9.gif

Hello, TmiguelT. Another comment about LA! lol! About the expressway, I dunno how it appeared so empty, it's full usually, especially on Interstate 60. When I was driving on it, I got a bullet through my backseat window. No one was hurt.

Hey, Benedict. Thanks for stopping by.

Welcome back, GreekMan. Congrats on being the 100th post!

Thanks for stopping by, Mr. Beer. Glad you like my photomontage 9.gif Come back soon!

I was reading through Skagit County(linky) today, and I got some inspiration on using small towns and intersting little tidbits.

So I decided to do an update on a small town.

Duckbill Inlet is a city of exactly 14,999 southeast of Moraine.

    Without further ado,

Such a nice little town... is it going to get corrupted by the big city of Moraine nearby?

I guess the problem with Duckbill Inlet is all the wealthy Moranians wanted to move there possibly? It looks great though.

I hope that town stays the way it is, it's picturesque, beautiful, quaint and charming, of course such things can not be tollerated in Moraine (sadly)

Got to love a church and sports bar right across the street from each other. I bet sunday mornings during football season are very busy on that street. Great updates since I last visited!

Very nice - I like what you're doing.

I'd love to see some region shots or maps...?

Well, another quick little update. I'll do replies when it isn't 11:30 on a school night.

    nightregionno2.jpg

Improved night region view...why not use the transportation map to overlay the satellite view? Shoutout to CSGdesign for making my transit map look cool.

People who have been closely reading this journal and its few updates will notice a mistake that has to do with Photoshop on the daytime region view. Anyone have ideas on what it is?

    Enjoy...replies later.

That is a great view. It provides a full view of Moraine, and shows a landscape of rapidly expanding sprawl. Now that I've stated the obvious, I can't wait for the next update!
