Wow, this thread is great;I hope it's not dead. I'm brand new to CitiesXL and am seeing some great ideas here. I'm especially interested in uniform and realistic suburbs and there are some great developments here. Keep up the good work!

When MC will introduce arcologies and/or disasters, I gonna buy CXL. Because this looks much greater than City Life (boo) and Societies (booooooooo).

As for city: why it grew that rapidly? Shouldn't it become a huge dense brown-three-story-apartment-block town at first, before skyscrapers went in?

Anyway, it's very nice. Especially the "downtown" area.
