What do you think of Cities XL?

Hi everyone! So, seeing the screenies, I really wanna buy this game, but I'd like to see what others think beforehand. Thanks! BTW, is it better than City Life, cuz i tried that and I loved it!!!

If you loved City Life you'll definitely love this game, its much improved on their original attempt.

A lot of the SC4 fans are unhappy about a number of issues (mass transit / micromanagement / taxes etc) but in my opinion the graphics and city building parts are excellent.

You will enjoy it as long as you remember that this isn't Sim City and shouldn't be thought of as a sequel to the series. There are still lots of bugs and glitches as is normal with all new pc releases, and there are still some grey areas as to future content.

Overall, I recommend it.

I think its pretty cool and has potenial but they have to fix some things to have continued involement.

1.) The 'snap' on roads is very annoying

2.) No way to 'turn off' the 'scroll at edge of screen'

3.) The insanely expensive 'terraformer' that dosen't 'flatten' anything, but takes your money for it.

4.) Configurable 'road type' on zone placements (instead of 'small road')

5.) Single tree placement (grayed out) so you can make things 'pretty'

6.) Player ability to change City Name.
