Hello! I've been using the NAM FLUPS for show lately because I can't get traffic to go through them. Can anyone help me? Thanks.

Could you remind me what FLUPs are, please? I can't remember.

There the underground tunnels that you can put below highways and rail and stuff. Make sure you put the connecting pieces between them.

Be sure to put the connecting piece under the original road.  Plus, i think it helps if the entire area on which the underpass/road lies is completely level.

This is correct: You have to connect the FLUP entrances by applying the appropriate puzzle pieces in between.

Thus said, the whole underpass do not have to be completely level. This is only required for the FLUP entrances. This gives you the opportunity to use the "FLUP under transparent surface" puzzle piece to create underwater FLUPs - fully driveable in UDI-mode (Use the "Water pollution" data view for easier placement of the puzzle pieces).

If your FLUPs are properly connected, but traffic still won't go through them:

1. Wait for a full month of game-time. This is the time the simulator needs to be aware of your new network.

or

2. Save your city and exit to region view. Then load your city again. This way all network paths are drawn all over again, filling whathever gaps that might be.

Also make sure that there are no alternative routes that would be more efficient for your commuters to use. If so, you might never get any noticeable traffic on your FLUP.

I have a similar problem. When I try building an underpass, the traffic on the particular segment simply stops.

I've tried waiting a few months, I've tried saving and reloading, but it still doesn't work...

I've tried it on different cities, so I'm guessing it has something to do with my NAM... I've downloaded the June 2009 NAM, and followed the proper installation instructions (uninstall the previous versions, then install the new one).

So dunno if there are any solutions to this problem...

TE Lots (which is what that underpass is) cannot act as a "road" to buildings.. either add a road behind or beside it or put something else beside it

I didn't understand what you meant by add a road behind or beside it.

My problem is not with the buildings next to the underpass, but rather the road itself: the Avenue above does not work, neither does the road under it (the road underpass under the avenue blocks the traffic on both sides!).

dodzi86, first off, that underpass' is NOT flat. I can see the white ceramic under it. Two, I have gotton the traffic to go over it, but not through it. Are there any Flup pieces for blank ground because I don't wanna make a canal or a mountain trail just to get it transit enabled. Plus, I want to have UDI through it, but I can't. With that being said...

It needs to be almost completely flat like citiesxlfan said. Also, I can get UDI to go through train FLUPs.

There are pieces for FLUPs under transparent (blank) ground and FLUPs under custom textures (downloaded separately). TAB through the cycle to find them, and then rotate the lot to get variations. The downside is, as far as I've found, that nothing can be built directly on these tiles.

If you can't get traffic through your FLUPs: Are you sure they are properly connected? The footprint of each FLUP piece indicate the direction of the underpass, and this is not necessarily the same direction as the arrow is pointing (e.g. the 90 degree turn pieces).
