Well i'm new on simtropolis and I've heard about the NAM mod that's doing miracles. But it seems you need Rushhour /deluxe to use the mod. Is there any other alternative so my sims would use more busses,trains,.. and so I can build roundabounts, avenues and stuff? thanks.

-Greetz.

Nope, there isn't. And since a major portion of the mods require RH/Deluxe, I'd recommend you to get it.

Otherwise, you can use the mass transit promotion ordinance, but that's about it.

PS: so roundabouts and avanues is impossible if you don't have rushhour?

You really should get it to unlock the full potential of this fantastic game.

My cities all have connections to neighbors. When I started City A that connected to City B, I simply made new roads in B and made another arrow for connection to A. Does it matter if A and B have connection to each other regardless the arrows (connections) actually match up?

That doesn't matter, game doesn't calculate the routes sims take in a neighbouring city, it just says that they've found a job in a neighbour town.

    Amazon might have it too.

They do - unfortunately the new RH is like $65, but the complete Deluxe Ed is 14.49 new, you'll just have an extra copy of the main game:

RH is availabe used for as low as $4.98

Yea, I've seen bargain bins at places such as Best Buy, or even Office Depot, try there first. The Office Depot here had them for $9.99, but you might be able to find a lower price.

Its not that I don't have enough money #_# Just,I bought to many games and I don't play on them anymore so won't get new ones from my parents xD.

But anyways are there any mods that you guys recomend that works without RH (just mods in general,no mass transit mods!)

Very few even test to see if they run under just SC4.. why? because the RUSHHOUR/DELUX package adds so much in terms of "bug fixes", transit options, and added content that it isn't worth it. If you're going to invest significant amounts of time on a project, why aim at the least capable? Most downloads will tell you what the requirements are.

It's almost criminal that they even sell vanilla SC4.. it only confuses folk.. the combo pack is as cheap or cheaper and you don't have to get far in the game before you begin wishing you had the full pack

Good rule of hand for looking for a mod that will work without Rush Hour/Deluxe is if it was uploaded prior to Rush Hours release. Slim pickings of course.
