I noticed in my smaller cities I get jams but they only go 1 way b/c the sims usually all live and in the same place and commute to 1 place. As the city gets bigger I have to obviuosly have to build in different places and thats when I can get traffic jams going both ways on the roads.

i would advise you against that, and for the current NAM. it includes all Transit Bugfixes/Supermods, along with additional features. plus, they're all incompatible with each other so you can only have one. the NAM's the way to go.
