Wooow! I just simply love that city! It's so damn realistic and still at the same time a piece of your own designs. You are the best city builder I know. Maybe not the most creative CJer or such, but you'd definitely deserve 'Best builder' title... Some journals are good because of their storyline. Some are good because of their beautiful presentation. Some are good because the city shown is good. Brastoval is one of them.

BTW, could you tell me what are those sburban houses you're using? The ones with driveway in front of them.

know i love making golf courses in the game, so needless

to say an amazing course is in progress.

 

until then, i had shown this to a few people in chat lst night

who seemed to enjoy it, don't be shy and check it out.

It is huge though so dial up users beware.

Great update!

Loved the detached housingpics and the low-wealth residential development. This CJ is fastly becoming my favourite! I keep expecting to see something that I realy don't like; but you keep coming up with those damn great updates! lol

Monsoon season, eh?  Cycledogg's modd looked good while you had it, but I can totally understand why you decided to keep the old terrain.

Love the mosiacs, nice mix of suburban, urban, industrial, and all points in between.  Very, very cool.  And I agree with Darmok, your terraforming is stunning.

wow some really great replies guys just a couple things of note I do not use photoshop
(i am a ms-paint master) and have been thinking of doing a tutorial on how to make a mosaic, though i am not sure how i would quite yet.  they are quite simple in concept and just require some time and a good eye to get right. so if yopu are interested let me know and i will do one and post

it in the city building concepts thread just as the others.

 

as far as the region goes look for an update tonight with some new stuff.

Not only sometimes I hate RLS.. Just a second no time and I missed seceral of your updates ...

Nice landscaping on monsoon. The peninsula has a real interesting shape!
This conglomeration is great as always. My favourite there is the industrial one with the water towers and the railway line. Great work!!!!
The last one promises to beome a real nice urban environment. Love how you combined tonkso's new concrete midrises wqith frogface's railway terminus. I use this terminus quite rarely, maybe I should change this ... !?
I don't say anything about your beaches since everything has been said before: GORGEOUS!!!!

Can't wait for the next one!!!
