I know what you mean about losing steam, but I'm constantly changing the presentation style of my region and I think just changing how I present more than anything else is helping me stay interested. As far as the street layout, yours is always quite unique but you're welcome to stay with it or change as you will. I've found that I've had a bit of luck experimenting with more meandering streets further out of my center, once I got the hang of it (I was hesitant at first though... 1.gif )

The region views look impressive, and the mosaics are always something to see. 10.gif

Looks like someone is having waaay too much fun with Photoshop.  I know it's only a page header, but that's pretty cool looking.

Now you are really humming along!

Very nice presentation and effort put forth!

An update doesn't getting any slicker than that! Your cities look quite inviting. Your latest work is showing me a nice progression and is very asthetically pleasing. Looks like your enjoying the game more than ever!

    Keep it coming!

    Aleking,

    ...

    GREAT WORK! 16.gif

First I love the negative owner for this page. The idea is as simple as great but as far as I know noone (inluding me) was that brilliant just to try it! 19.gif

And again, the great art of thge mosaic ...! I love your beaches and though this should present the new NDEX BATs I still love the Cobb Oceanic at the ocean close to the Atlantic plaza (yep, that one stayed in my plugin folder when I removed most highrises ... 10.gif)

Can't wait to see the next update! 29.gif

Woa! Nice pictures, those mosaics are awesome!

    Two questions.

1 Near the bottom of the last mosaic, there's what looks like an arena, is that a japanese bat?
2 just a little above that, there's a building looking like two triangles put alongside each other, also japanese?

    And if possible links?

    Great work Alek!

    Aleking,

Now that I've twice replaced my keyboard (after drooling all over it when I saw your pictures from the past two days), I'll simply say that your mosiacs of that city and of the coastline/coastal town are stunning.  The very best I've seen in a long, long time.

Keep up the GREAT work on this city and city journal!

Woah! You never cease to amaze me with your work... I especially like your night-shots of the downtown. And you said you are having success with a non-diagonal layout? That's good. Finally something else. 1.gif
