The Abrahamic Religions (Judaism, Christianity, and Islam) are all from that neck of the woods.

But other relgions (e.g., Hinduism, Buddhism, Shintoism...) have absolutely nothing to do with it.

Well, if you wanna go by the "I was there first" argument, then Judaism gets the Holy Land, as they were living their even before Christianity and Islam were thought of.

i didn't said that we muslims owned it first, i think that jerusalam had it's own endependent origin, and it's true, jewish were their before muslims, and that's what my relegious book (koran) says, but past is past, that was hundereds of years before, what does this have to do with now, we are in the 21st centery dude.

That logic does not make sense. Without the past, there would be no religion, and then there would be no conflict here. The past sets the tone for what happens in the future.

I still dont get the whole Isreal/Palestine thing. A lot of the reason Isreal is growing is because of Palestinian migration to Isreal. Plus, I can't even find Palestine on the map =S

Why not make new land, of do Israel want that certain piece of land?

Dubai made extra land, so instead of spending money on planes, wars, etc spend it on expanding their country into their water.

Or the UN (or whatever) could just control that entire area.
