And larks, my Dell Studio 1558 will flip your laptop over (i5-520m, ATi Radeon HD 4570) . It is rated second to a mac. (CR)

Dell Studio XPS, how much did that cost? Here are my specs, just to say...

ATi Radeon HD 4570 (512mb)

4gb of 1333mhz RAM, ooohhhhhh, ahhhhhhhhhh

500gb 7200rpm Seagate HDD

8x slot load drive

Backlit Keyboard (3 settings, Full, Half, Off)

9 cell battery (up to 9 hours I have been able to squeeze out)

Cost: $894.95 (I saved $400 bucks, retail would be $1300)

And its blue as well as more stylish than an XPS. And I doubt you be able to get that kind of battery life with decent performance out of that i7.
