Normally I wouldn't worry to much about our republicans, seeing as they're probably more liberal then a good deal of other states' democrats, but it seems like they're going off of dislike of Blago (I'd take a corrupt politician who gets some good things passed over a non-corrupt who does nothing anyday) do shove more conservatives down our throats...

But that's all I'll say about that.

In other news, eye-patch is off of me! Except for when I have to look at a computer screen from a close distance, then I'm still supposed to wear it...either that or take breaks from them so often it would be as if I wasn't on the computer at all.

As long as I'm talking about me, I'll also throw in that I've finally gotten around to applying and sending my applications for college/uni/whatever you wanna call it.

I am having fun with Cities XL 2011. It is annoying that it monopolizes a single core (my quad core processor has 4 weak cores that add up to a relatively good processor) but uses virtually no RAM. If I want my game to run at its best, I will need to replace my Q6600 with the best Intel Core2 Quad Processor in addition to replacing my nVIDIA 8500GT with a 290.

Yeah, it's ridiculous how much resources graphics rendering can consume with games these days. I tell you what, "gaming quality PC" was not a term you heard back in the 90's. Back then any halfway decent computer would allow you the "full experience".

As far as I can recall, I have never hit anyone hard enough to cause significant damage... on purpose. Accidentally is another matter entirely.

On a related note, don't bend down in front of someone trying to hit a hockey ball. You will almost certainly get hit in the face with a hockey stick, which is not a good thing at all.

For us, in middle school gym, we used balls initially, then progressed to pucks. Which ended up with a lot of slamming the puck across the gym... I nailed someone (not going to say where) doing that before. Oops.
