The rumors are true!   Nominations have been extended for another 2 days.

We've had a few site hiccups this Trixie season so it's only fair that people have a chance to submit their nominations.

Nominations will now close on 11/30/2009 at 12:00 AM.

I will take this chance to say that I've been impressed by the quality of the nominations (and not just those submitted by the alphabet guy).   Most people are providing well thought out, coherent reasons for their nominations.   Good job!

Darn it! Why do the nominations have to be 2 days longer?! I want to suffer the pain of realizing that nobody has even nominated me 2 days sooner so I can get it over with! Increasing things by 2 days will force me to anticipate things longer!

Well, I guess 700ish decent nominations is better than 1300 garbage ones.

It also means less work for the administration, so we could, at a guess, get the Trixie results a little faster than in previous years.
