Shouldn't download speeds be faster?

They have become too slow. I have to sometimes wait 30 minutes to download something. I can't even download anything here anymore.  Can't something be done about it?  Sc4devotion.com downloads are way faster.  Y can't they be the same here? I really want to be able to download from simtropolis. What can be done?

It's a little faster for me.

I get about 5 - 10 kb/s.

That's workable.

And the search hasn't been acting up lately which is great.

I get between 2-4. I don't get it because simtropolis was faster before

by the way, I just downloaded a 3.5 mb building from sc4 devotion at over 100 kb/s!

Instead of complaining, have you tried PMing an admin or even a STEX moderator about this?

Its not very hard to get ahold of them.

All we can do is wait for the bandwidth to increase. Dirk has to pay for it out of his own pocket, so we can't be so needy. In time, there will be more bandwidth.
