I find it hilarious how everyone tries to mimic the KDE and Mac desktops! Imitation is the highest form of flattery.
:edit:
clindhartsen, why aren't you using WB anymore?

Well, I re-installed Windows XP Home and haven't really felt like re-installing it and running it again for the time being. By the way to the other posts, maybe I should finally open that Weekend Guide to install Red Hat Linux 7 and maybe get that done since it's been sitting around for a while. 17.gif

New desktop.  I normally try to avoid ones with Windows XP or the windows logo on them, but this one looked so nice I couldn't pass it up.

Fairlane: where did you get that?  Is it available in high (1600 at least) resolutions?
I have two desktop screens ... a current one and an old one.

http://spartan117.simvision.net/Desktop_Screenshot_3.jpg   -  this is the one with Konfabulator

First one to guess which one my avatar came from wins the internet!

If you are looking for some kickass wallpapers that are truly exceptional ...
Other than the Hitomi one, my favorite desktop of all time can be found here (sci-fi from DeviantArt):

I seldom have a desktop wallpaper, here´s what I´ve currently got.

Looks a bit like Clindhartsen´s on top of the page (maybe same artist?)...

You know, you could just take the shot at 1024x768 and size it down in MS Paint.. (That's what I do)

Stretch and skew 78%, and you should get a 799x600 image.

If you always take the same road, you will never see anything new.

Hmm..clindhartsen has some really beautiful wallpapers. 1.gif

If you guys are wondering how to resize your desktops, I recommend  IrfanView..it can be found here:  http://www.irfanview.com . Very easy to use.

May I ask, how can I find some of the wallpapers that I see all the time for Microsoft Longhorn? They look good.
