I have CitiesXL running on XP just fine with a few issues but fine for the most part, however on my windows 7 system it will not run for a second. Has anyone else tried this if so have  you found a workaround or solution yet. Thank you

I'm running Cities XL Beta on Windows 7 x64 build 7137. It works fine, except for the occasional crash (Which I always marked up to the game being a Beta). Try running the game in compatibility mode, see if that helps.

I'm running it on Windows 7 64-bit and it works well. The only problem I get is is that it crashes every once-in-a-while.

I would be but can't get my login to work at all, and now can't login to the profile page either which was working earlier.

Ditto what everyone else has said. Runs well, until the occasional crash (which sucks when you haven't saved in a while).

Off-topic, but how do you get build 7137? All I can find is 7100. On topic, works perfectly well for me. No crashes.

a bit of an update here, from what I hear, the latest beta (CXL) works very well on W7 x64, but not at all or very poorly on W7 32bit... stick with 64bit

Ive been running it on x64 7264 and have not had a single crash apart from the occasional lockup after returning to planet mode. Though that itself doesn't seem to be so much of an issue after the 211 patch.

It mostly depends on what your computer specs are not what OS you are running. I only recently have problems logging on and I think that's just my internet connection being slowed down by my ISP.

Currently Windows 7 is still in Beta and, we cannot officially support it. Also, I must mention the fact that it is always risky to run a beta game on a beta OS... 2.gif (heck, just using a beta OS is risky...)

So use CitiesXL on Windows 7 at your own risks; but don't complain if it doesn't work. 2.gif
