WOW. I cant belive I havent been here before. I love the Knightsbridge Barracks and the station. SC needs more Termini. Brilliance is never far away when FF is near.

Gotta love all your London buildings.  How do you decide which city your going to do BATs from?  First Paris, then London; I got my fingures crossed for Rome next, though it looks like you got your hands full at the moment.

Anywho, your doing great work, keep it up.

Between you and Tonks, my use of Japanese train stations has been virtually eliminated.  York Station looks like another must have.

And I love the BR train skins ... it'll be nice to replace the DMU (also yours!) with a loco and coach set.

So what comes next 50s Deltics in BR green?

I really like the style of that building, the only thing i think you may have to iron out is the width of the post on the road, other than that, it's looking incredible. Especially the windows!

    Glenni: thanks 16.gif
Woko: im not too good at this style and this was a challenge to model, let alone Lloyds 17.gif I might give it a try sometime later maybe

The detail is just beautiful. I think I can see someone waving at us out of one of the windows. hehe

i'm glad to see more london buildings, i think i have been to london more times than any other city.but i have one thing to bring up since someone mentioned lloyd's. i happen to be in the middle of texturing and importing 88 wood st into the bat from 3ds max. so, just in case you thought of it (which i don't know who is crazy enough to do rogers' buildings anyways with the amount of detail), i wanted to let you know.

anyways, great job so far 44.gif and i'm looking forward to your london set.

btw, i think i also have the citigroup centre and the hsbc headquarters in my folder as well 47.gif, but not necessarily finished.

I like 125 London Wall - the design has a real 'wow factor' about it.

    yorkrd8hi.jpg

ive started on the second worst part...nightlighting! 9.gif
(however it is rewarding if it looks nice...unlike packaging where you get no reward at all 18.gif)

the main question is : is it fine like this? i know some people like whizzy nightlights and buildings lit up like a chav's house at christmas but i quite like the how it is, it seems a lot more realistic because the offices would be shut for the night and just the floodlights in the train shed giving illumination, it has a closed feel to it 41.gif
i was also planning to remove the track textures but it works well with the nightlighting IMO so they'll stay and as an extra i'll probably add some berthed trains onto the tracks aswell.
PS: igonre the light leaks at the front 2.gif
    opinions welcome 19.gif
JEC:saw your 88 wood st building, looks very good! i hope you can get round to releaseing one day

I agree with Ill, I think what you have done there has already captured the essence of a UK train station. I don't think you need to do anymore nightlighting.

I think the thing too do is lessen the intensity by abou 1.0 or 0.5, it's just a bit too intense, perhaps goo for a more whiter yellow, but apart from that i agree with the others about the windows, it does give it a nice the next train terminates here feel 2.gif (given the fact it's a terminus i know 3.gif)
