Looks like a cool program. I am downloading it now. I don't know how the resolution compares with Google Earth, but another program that accesses satelite imagery is NASA World Wind. You can get it http://worldwind.arc.nasa.gov/ . (Warning-180 MB download) I've found some pretty close pics of my house, but only in black and white.

I have the chance of having both Google Earth and Nasa's World Wind - on US, they work pretty accurately, but on Europe... Google Earth is significantly better in resolution.

I've compared both, and for me, NASA World Wind is far superior. compare the two pics below:

It's probably just because I don't live in one of the biggest cities. I guess it just depends on where you live.

Red line approximately outlines our property. It's 1 acre.

Blue line approximates the State Line between New York and Connecticut. My House is in Stamford(CT). The town on the other side is Pound Ridge, NY. The area off to the left in Connecticut is undeveloped but it was recently sold and the new owners are going to build 20 houses in there. The woods in New York are owned by the Pound Ridge Country Club, a 9 Hole Golf course with the extra space left over for a possible expansion to a full 18 holes. Such a proposal has been active several times in the past, but nothing has come of it, and nothing probably ever will, considering that all that extra water the Golf Course would end up using would probably run the water table dry on a regular basis.

I could get in much closer to my home with GoogleEarth, as opposed to NASA World Wind, but I live in the UK. I suppose it depends where you live.
