Oh, this series is hilarious. IMHO, this is some of the best writing EVER in television history.

I'm surprised this has only surfaced here today, I've known about the new Episodes since February, and watched all of them over the weekend 3.gif

They weren't the best Dwarf episodes ever, but after a Decade, what do you expect? The acting got better as each Episode progressed however, so I would get on my knees and beg Doug Naylor to make a new series... given he brings back the laugter track, the last 3 Eps seemed a bit empty without it.

Also, even though there has been 8 Series', there won't be a 9th since the majority of what would be contained in the 9th series is explained in BTE. Doug instead is jumping to a 10th series, given that BTE is gets goods feedback and they SELL ENOUGH DVD'S *cough*BUY10EACH*cough*.

I also recommend Series 5 9.gif You'll get to meet Easy Bakes avatar... the fabled 'Mr Flibbles'!

BEST. SHOW. EVER! Why can't they put the shows on in the States??????? I'm drooling here.

Is there any way I can catch them online?

    They're making a 10th series?

BTW, Season 2 is the best.

Youtube is a good place to start 3.gif

    Red Dwarf BTE Part 1

Follow it on from there. I think all the Episodes are up.

Both Season 1 and 2 are good, but the lack of Kryten makes it slightly hollow.

The show occasionally appears on local PBS channels in the US, depending on the market.  I just recommend buying the collection, though.  It is a fantastic series, one that gets better when seen more than one.

They just stoped runing the series here in dallas a couple months ago after a 4 year uniterrupted run.

hope fully the DVDs will be here and not to expensive.

You can get the different series on DVD for between $15 and $30. In the US, I know that Best Buy, Fred Meyer, Meijer, and Fry's Electronics all carry them, although you may have to have them ordered, because when they run out, they don't often order more. You can also get them online at Amazon.com.

I own all Eight Series, and am really hoping for a Series 9 to explain BTE. I will also be buying BTE when it is available in the US.

    Too much CGI etc.

    Coronation street? WTF?

Has strayed too far from the original for my liking.

Their making a season 10 instead since BTE pretty much explains series 9... Holly gets flooded when Lister leaves the bath running, Kotchanski leaves on Blue Midget and Kryten lies to Lister, telling he she's dead after being flushed out of an Airlock and Lister gets drunk alot, and generally acts depressing. Season 9 wouldn't be much.
