I think you missed the point.  Ian's reference was to the size of another organ.

The measure of that is often the size of the hand from the outer edge to the base of the thumb.  This does not apply to jocks who use a lot of steroids.  They need a microscope.

I think you might have missed Astro's point. 3.gif It's a joke now-a-days that when someone says "You know what they say about big feet/hands?" for the other person to reply with, "Big shoes/gloves?" Both sides know what they really ment, but it's just a way to avoid the subject. 3.gif

I usually respond to it with "heh.. yeah.. 4.gif", but then that is me.

To be honest, when they get too big they get very annoying. I sometimes wish I didn't have one.

Astro, im Australian Men's 10.5 and i never have trouble finding shoes that fit my size. Depending on the brand and style, its can be quite easy to have shoes in either 10 or 11. I dont know why you have such trouble. Also, first time i have popped into the closet in a while. 3.gif

Might as well join in...

US size 10. Never too hard to find shoes I want/like. Although, the whole shopping process is kind of a drag. I basically know what I want, go in, find the right size, go out. Simple as that.

Side note, my shoes right now are 10.5...they're kinda big on me. Maybe I should pay more attention next time...

US 10.5-11

A fairly common length, but my feet are too wide for regular 10.5 shoes, so I either get wider versions or go a little larger.

EUR 41, so US mens 8, I guess. I think that I have quite small feet compared to others here. 5.gif

Try being a US Womens Size 11, its impossible to find good heels.

This thread has gone from LGBT Issues to Feet Issues lol, let me try to get it back on track.

In my opinion, gay guys make the BEST friends. They are unique individuals who aren't afraid to be themselves and speak their minds(when fully out...) They're just Fabulous. I'm a "Hag", always have been, always will. I Thank my lucky stars for them everyday or I would have no friends. 4.gif

I personnally am bisexual (as most people who hang on the chat might know), never considered myself as part of any LGBT kind of community or whatever, or never considered the rest of my personality affected in any way by that... I don't really think it has any importance at all, sincerely. =)

tritri: That's pretty much exactly the same way I consider myself. My sexuality is a very minor part of who I actually am.

To search for the ideal city today is useless. For all cities are different. Each one has its own spirit, its own problems, and its own pattern of life. As long as the city lives, these aspects continue to change. Thus to look for the ideal city is not only a waste of time but may be seriously detrimental. In fact, the concept is obsolete; there is no such thing.

When I buy shoes, how much they cost overrides almost everything else. That's why the last pair of shoes I bought were $14.

And I something about a previous statement struck me as odd (as I know my feet are larger than most - stores generally only stock up to about 12 here), so I checked - an Australian 11 is a US 11.5 or 12. Not a US 9.5, as was alleged. It is also an 11 in the UK (we have the same scale) and a 45 in Europe. Conversion table. Another conversion table, with slight differences.

I'm not entirely sure where the figures quoted in the previous statement were pulled from.

I never did care for that term, mostly because of another word I won't mention that it often goes with.  But I've never heard alternatives.  Are there any?

Here's the Wiki reference.

In old English it means witch.  Ugly is in the eyes of the beholder, especially if looking in a mirror.  If the mirror doesn't crack or shatter, I wouldn't worry too much about it.  Why not just call it plain.

From your sig, you seem to think Britney is some kind of paradigmn, but I have never thought of her as anything very special, so perhaps your looks aren't as off-putting as you believe.  Since I am nothing to write home about, maybe we share a view point, but I have never considered myself an image of Quasimodo either.

I never thought Hags were ugly, its just a term that refers to us women who are mainly surrounded by our gay friends. Lol.

Britney has good music, I stand by that.

I like some of Lady Gaga's music. I can't say I listen to Britney Spears often.

Oh...6 footer, in height   10.gif

Well, I've been looking around to find a place for my very first post...and guess what I found ...this thread   17.gif

So here's my first post on ST....

On the Kensey scale I'm a 6 here...just ask my EX's.

Straight looking and acting...just ask my EX's.

Open and out...just ask my EX's.

Joined the site several weeks ago and have been lurking....ALOT !!!

I came to this site looking for new ideas and help with my SC4 gaming.

Looks like I might have found a place for some socializing too.

Intro:

Older (on my ID, not in my mind or heart) gay guy living down on Florida's central west coast....Tampa Bay area, St. Petersburg to be more exact.

I work in a factory...looking particularly 'straight' in my work uniform   2.gif

I'm openly gay, but have to convince some people that I am. Actually had a minor argument with a woman at work once about it. She was like "No, your not!"...I was like, "Yes I am."

This went back and forth some until I said, "Introduce me to your husband...I'll prove it".    11.gif

Found this thread just before I had to get ready for work (2nd shift here) and only got through page #2.

I'll pick it up from there when I get home later.

Let's see....met my "longest term" EX when his son was 3 months old. He still considers me his step-father and remains a big part of my lifel (long after my relationship with his father ended). Hard to believe Tony is now 23 years old.

Same EX's nephew was 6 months old when we met...he's also still a big part of my life and lives a few buildings away with his long-term girlfriend.

So if I mention "The Kids", it's about all three of them. If I say "The Boys", I'm referring to Tony and Steve.

Presently single, live with 3 cats (Rugby, Chico, and Gimli)

Have lived down here for 21 years and love it.

Been playing Sim City for years and spent 30 hours (yes, thirty hours) non-stop playing when I first got SC4 right after it's release.

Anyway, enough for now.

Just introducing myself to the closet group and saying HI   1.gif

Catch you guys later......

Chuck

I have to agree with that, although Lady Gaga's been growing on me, Britney Spears is definitely way down there, sometimes like parodies of her music though. 5.gif
