Ah, the irrepressible Dame Edna. I get that show on BBC Canada, but it is usually opposite something else I want to watch. Maybe I'll give is some precedence. Some the clips from it are a hoot. It is definitely better to have someone else buff your obelisk.

New York passes gay marriage bill.

A milestone towards ending discrimination in the United States.

Only slightly?

I'll admit, many an enjoyable evening has been ruined for me by seeing things that cannot be unseen. Scary world out there.

With regards to shoes and shirts being required... it's interesting that they don't mention pants. So if you walk into a store without pants they can't do anything... except perhaps nail you with a violation of public modesty ...

Ahhhhh, now I've found my kind of topic!

Nice to see a LGBT friendly Forum, makes you feel so warm and fuzzy inside 44.gif

Thats all well and good until you walk into a X-Ray Specs outlet... So wear tin foil pants folks!

All tin foil would get you would be a shower of secondary radiation, and lead is too heavy to wear as a cup and jock.

The signs should read body clothing and foot wear are required inside this establishment.

Judging by the reflection in the glass it is just a gas station...

...gotta say they have a pretty high standard of dress code for a gas station.

Not if they were serving food as well. Health department rules there.

That's because places like gas stations are common convenient targets for robberies, especially if they're right off the highway. They want to minimize the amount of cash they have on hand in case they get held up and to reduce their attractiveness to such things. Also why you see signs like "attendant does not have key to safe".

Also, in Canada (and probably the US too), a lot of places won't accept large bills because of counterfeits.

A few gas stations here only accept debit or credit after 10pm, to avoid having cash at all. You have to pay before pumping to get the gas, but it automatically stops when it gets to the amount so there is no need to deal with it ending up being $10.09 or something stupid like that and then you have to find pennies.

>.< talk about posting then disappearing, oops.

anyways, in reply to that little bit way back. Yes, only slightly as I'm not going to enjoy things like...oh i don't know, slicing? heatguns? voluntary tasering? all those are ridiculously painful and just....ugh. Although I don't mind the occasional whipping :3 (do NOT tell my boyfriend, he'll take it too far.)

Also, Unseeing things would just take all the fun out of bieng drastically different.

Seattle had a Pride parade last Saturday. I missed it.

Ocram's Razor: Though "more things shouldn't be used than are necessary," they're just too fun to pass up! Expect many verbose arguments from me. I will try to write abstracts before or short summaries after from now on.

Words to live by:
"Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit. But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. For to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, and to another the word of knowledge according to the same Spirit; to another faith by the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit... But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually..." 1 Corinthians 4-11

"Do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." Matthew 6:34
"Do not judge so that you will not be judged. For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you." Matthew 7:1-3

Finally a thread I really feel something for.

big-thema-rz0506_3.jpg

It says: "Raised to be straight, nvertheless it turned out well." Or at least something of that order.

It was signed by the neighbour (male) of Loesje.

The Toronto Pride parade was yesterday. This is pride week in Ontario.

Now that the main battles have been won, I wonder why we bother having it anymore. Some of the displays on the floats are just a little flaunting and overboard. They are inviting a pendulum swing.

I guess you've never seen the boats here in Amsterdam then... half naked guys/girls on them...

But most of the 80 barges are filled with people celebrating our freedom, celebrationg a great time with music and such.

In Amsterdam you'll see barges with the severall organizations like: the police, the mayor of Amsterdam, secretary of defence and part of the department of defence, reprecentives of the municipality of The Hague and the municipality of Rotterdam, Gaydar, Gay Romeo and many other companies and such. But there is allso a boat for under 16 and 65+ GLBTs.

That's like saying "Now that WWII is over, I wonder why we bother having Remembrance Day anymore". There is a reason pride week is the last week in June.
