Dave... in order to share your "creations" you have to first CREATE them. this is somewhat different process then to take someone's else work, get another one to solve your problem with actually using it and then claim the public admiration.

There could be many reasons said model fails to render and nobody would/should be doing such a guess work. The best way to get along would be for you to actually learn how to use the tool to make proper content. This way even when you use ready made stuff you would have understanding of basic principles of both modeling and actual process and conditions for export and be in most case able to fix such problems.

Take a look at Omnibus there some tutorials that will get you started. And one more theing, the most importatnt skull in the whole thing is being able to SEE, see how things are in real world.

Best of Lucks!

^ Agreed. There are many reasons for that error. If you had modeled the building yourself, then explaining how you modeled it might give us a better idea of what's wrong, but at this point any advice would be pure speculation.

Alternatively, you could search the forums for the code 6 error; I'm sure it has been addressed before.

I had this problem when I first tried BAT. The most common suggestion on-line was "not enough memory". Try this, create a file that contains only one simple object and try to export that. If this works then your problem is most likely insufficient memory. Setting the Page File to one and half times the size of your RAM might do the trick. Don't set it any higher than this as it will probably not help.

If even a simple object wont export then your problem may be Scale. Check the box at the bottom of the gmax screen that says 'Grid' - if you're modeling in the right scale it will say either 1 or 16. If this is not the case then rescale your object smaller and zoom in until the Grid is 16 - at this scale each square will be equal to one game tile. In my experience the BAT can only be 20x20 tiles in order to export successfully and in actual practice 10x10 is about the best I can do with 1G RAM. Since most BATs are between 1 and 3 tiles square this is not much of a limitation.

No I; no you; no 'why'.
