If I was attending an interview for an office job I would wear a tie and proper shirt. This is what I'd call 'weekend casual' it's something I'd wear if I went somewhere like my great aunt's and wasn't actually working. My present voluntary work is outdoors and in greenhouses so I tend to wear very practical clothing there.

On the contrary, I think he looks rather sharp. Smart casual is the way to go.

So I went on a overnight trip out into the country this week. Those fields are eye gouging.

Looks like a field of Canola (rapeseed).  If it is, you won't want to walk through it or you'll be well lubricated.

Education is a matter of desire, not age.  Most places have public libraries and you'd be surprised at what you can learn there.  Getting a diploma is a form of recognition of achieving a recognized body of knowledge.

I deferred my university placement. Don't start my 3 year course till March next year, but I don't mind.

I completed my B.Eng. this last July, but I will not be getting the certificate until the next year or so, this is how things work at my uni... Congrats, Maarten!
