IS there a mod that  makes the menus easier so that  you  have a lot of plugins and you are lazy to search for them every time?

I hope most of you guys who have many plugins would understand me  9.gif

It is not possible to add new menus or sub-menus, but you can re-organize the positions of the icons in the menus by following this tutorial.  I find it helpful to keep a table or spreadsheet of the names of the lots and the values I use for their item orders in case I need it for future reference.

Also., some of the custom content with a lot of menu items comes with what is called a Menu Management Lot, or MML.  This is a lot that one plops in the city, waits for a few game months, then go back into the menu and the numerous items' icons will be there.  They can be plopped, then the MML can be demolished, and the numerous icons will disappear form the menu.  To find these various versions, I would suggest a search of the STEX for "Menu Management Lot".

For the parks menu, (this helps a little bit) there is a parks cleaner mod that moves the maxis parks to the bottom of the menu. Also there is a remove train stations, fire stations, police stations, schools, and I think hospitals mods, which removes the standard in-game stuff listed above.

The one draw back of the MML lots, you can't place them one after another like normal menu items.... meaning. You kind of have to select the menu item each time you want to use it.  This becomes tedious when trying to fill in large ares with the MML lots....

The best you can do tho, once you select a lot that part of an MML, simply opening the 'parks' menu will automatically select the last lot chosen. This means the second time you want to use the same lot after selecting it and placing it. Them just open the park menu again and that item will still be selected. But after that second placement, you have to open the park menu again, select the desired item once again, rinse & repeat.

Another word of advice, try to keep the menus fairly close to the area you are developing. This way you don't have to drag your cursor back and forth across the screen each time.

YES! I remember the parks menu mod to move them to the bottom.
Does anyone remember the name of it or where I can find it?
THanks!

The Maxis Park Cleaner was made by Jeronij and was probably on the LEX. Not sure when his items might be repackaged and released.
