I've made a few minor tweaks to the perrington apartments. The most noticeable changes is the addition of roof-junk and the back entrance.

As of right now I am at a loss to what to do with the building. I am planning on leaving the three top roof areas blank (which is fairly common in buildings of this type), but I am not quite sure what to do with the roof above the entrance; so suggestions are encouraged. I have a design for a new apartment building that I will probably start modeling.

    Suggestions, comments, questions, welcome.

Well, it's just a thought, but on some box apartment towers they have lobbies designed slightly different from the building. Often, the exterior paint is a different colour, or they have a few more/different windows, etc. The reason why I thought about this is that even though you have a front entrance area, it seems too small to be a lobby for such a large apartment tower, and the rest of the first floor carries the same general design as other parts of the tower. Oh well, it's just a thought5.gif, I'm sure you'll come up with something to enhance your building's quality. Good job so far, by the way.44.gif

    Thanks for the comments everybody!

I haven't been working on the Perrington Apartments. Instead I've been working on The Cryson Building and a new apartment building.+

The building is called Starker Tower Apartments. It is 43 storeys tall (at the moment, however when I am done it will be 45). I was originally designing it with R

    Here's a small update.

I worked on the roof and detailed the base of Starker Tower Apts. The majority of the basic modeling is done.

I still have to add textures, model the roof stuff and much more.

    Comments, questions suggestions welcome5.gif.

Heres an update. I modeled the roof entrance of the Starker Tower Apts. In addition I started modeling some of the details as well as starting texturing.

The wall spot on the base is where the ground junk will go and the hole will eventually be the entrance to an underground garage. I still need to texture the rest of the building as well as tweak existing textures.

    Comments, suggestions and questions welcome!

Sorry for the lack of updates. I wouldn't call it a true RLS as I have been working on my bats, however at a reduced pace. The reason for my slow progress is I'm back at school and I needed time to get settled. However since my daily schedule has just about balanced out I should be able to resume at full speed on Saturday.

I'm terribly sorry for not telling you and for the inconvenience (hmm.. does that word really work in this situation?) I may have caused15.gif. I will post an update either later today or tomorrow (depends on how long it will take do homework).

Gosh, now that homework is taking very long. 3.gif

Seriously; I've missed a good part of your thread because I had a major case of RLS myself... however, what I just browsed through looked good as always. 1.gif

Just wanted to bump this thread a bit to show you there's still interest in your creations, especially bearing in mind that some of them haven't hit the STEX yet... *cough* Paranash *cough*

If I can help you with LOTting or modding stuff, just drop me a line, I'll be glad to help out if and when I can.

That last apartment tower is looking great so far; however, I still think R$$ would work well (and be more useful). 3.gif
