Ezo is a parliamentary monarchy. The Imperial Household and the Emperor/Empress have no legitimate law-making powers, however, they still wield a great deal of political influence.

The capital is located at on the central plains, in the city of Chuo (pronounced Chu-oo), meaning "the center." The financial and industrial powerhouse of the nation lies within the central plains.

Ezo has 19 provinces including the capital district of Chuo, 1 semi-autonomous region called Kalina to the far south (not pictured), and 1 military district to the far east.

Ezo is divided into six basic regions.

The Central Plains, The Eastern Plains, South Western Mountains, The North Shore, and the Southern Islands (and Kalina).

Much like Ezo Ashikaga is a city defined by new and old architecture.

The city is the capital of Ashikaga-Tsurumiya Province. Ashikaga like Sagamihara borders the Great Central Lake, and serves as a port.

It's impressive, great work and beautiful pics. The highway on the water is surprising, I never saw this in a CJ.

Duuuuude... this is awesome!! Thats some great planning, and I love the business dostrict!! I dont even recognize some of those buildings!! I remember your last CJ and I liked it, but this is simply great!! Those highways on the water is really cool, Im guessing you used some sort of water-ploppable highway props?? They look great!!

Keep it up, this is a great start, but dont post twice, you may want to merge those two posts b4 someone notices ;D .

Twenty20 and Joetropian1: The highways on water, im guessing ur refering to the picture labeled Kalina, thats plopped water, not highway props. if you check out the old cj theres an explanation, i may come back to expanding on that later.

and to others watching...

you guys may have noticed this city doesnt have the new NAM... any subsequent cities posted will have the visual effects of the new NAM, especially noticeable on highways.

Oooo, I liked your previous version of this cj, but it seems to have improved dramatically since then. The new NAM curves are great, and Parliament Square is quite beautiful. The night shots are (as I always say) incredible. Very nice work!

Ashikaga: Update

The busy port city of Ashikaga

Ashikaga's rail lines are not as well developed as those of Chuo or Kalina, or Sagamihara for that matter. However, the population is no where near that of the other three cities,

which by the way have over or close to 1 million people. Ashikaga's population balances somewhere around half a million.

ILOVE your cities! They are so well planned out and have so many skyscrapers! I have seen cities with over 1,000,000, but these look close to two!

btw the pics dont seems grainy, i like them, i think they're fine.

Ashikaga: Update 2

Ashikaga is still a developing city

Ashikaga harbor bridge connects North Ashikaga and the business district

Ashikaga Lake Side Tower provides a beautiful view of the lake and the business district.

Surrounding it is Ashikaga Park

Harbor entrance and Ashikaga Lake-Side highway

Ashikaga Arch, a symbol to the first colonizers of the land and the location of the original ferry link to Sagamihara

Ashikaga Central Station, the highspeed rail station is relatively new, and connects to Sagamihara and Chuo. A connection is due to be made with

Chitose International Airport, which will provide air travel for the Ashikaga-Tsurumiya Province.

Wow the airport terminal looks huge! Im guessing that its some sort of modular set? I hjave most of the airport sets, but i might of missed that.

Its hard to believe Ashikaga is still growing. That downtown looks huge! Lol and the Duomo looks hilarious sitting right beside those massive skyscrapers.

I like the idea of using the arch, personally I rarely have, but it looks good!

Joetropian: ya i think its a modular set, and i dont know about anyone else but I love the Duomo, i just love Italian stuff. My favourite building is the Campanile Di San Marco in Venice, which beppe46 made a BAT of, and so did Kei, but he took his down off of his site and now he just makes Japanese buildings... But the Duomo, I dont even care if it doesnt fit into the city, lol, it has to be there, kinda like a starbucks has to be in a mall to call it mall, must build Duomo. but i still like to build asian-esque cities, whatever, i just like Venezia and Firenze

so uuh this is really beginning to look wierd, thanks for the post though De Ja Vu. Love your city too by the way, one of those cities i would recommend.

I believe it's always been 30 posts per page. But the first page will say "29" replies (because it counts from replies, not the initial post) before it flips at 30. Simply amazing. And just when you think that all there is to your cj is stunning highrise areas, you go and throw nature in my face! Your transport network is one of the best I've seen for a built up area. And by the way, what is that image in your avatar? It looks cool but so small I can't make it out.

umm for those of u anime enthusiasts (OTAKU) you would know, or if youve ever been to the unwiki of lucky-star on the japanese version youve probably seen it.

its Chinese ren-min-bi with Japanese anime characters, Konata and Kagami on them instead of Mao.
