Colts win and guarantees I'll post a winning record in the playoffs this year. The worst I can do is 6-5, but the Saints and whoever I pick for the SB would have to lose. My hats off to the Jets carrying a rookie QB making it to the AFC Championship. I bet the Jets make a serious run for the SB next year.

I was hoping the rookie QB would make it to the superbowl. The colts have been there and done that. I would like to see someone new.

Hmm an 8:30 post  so that was about  mid 3rd period  so yea they can drop the ball more.

The turn overs finaly cost them the game in the end, on that last drive all they needed was a field goal to win

and they cough it up with 10 seconds to go.

That said it was an incredible game, best of the playoffs except mabey the  GB Arizona  game.

Props to the Saints for winning a close hard fought game. Good to see another team thats never been heading to the SB.

    Whos left thats never been?

Detroit Lions, HoustonTexans and Jacksonville Jaguar's Is that it? Edit : The Browns are the last.

    2-0 for this round boys

Taking the Saints to win it all

Dont forget to NOT watch the probowl next sunday, lets put this atrocity out of its misery forever.

Count on me.19.gif  I have never watched a pro-bowl game nor will I ever.  Half the guys who make the pro bowl never show up anyways and it's usually the most boring game of the year.  Then to have it a week before the SB was a lame-brained idea to begin with.  So yeah, hopefully the NFL will put this game out of it's misery and do away with it once and for all.19.gif

Lol how pathetic is it that Detroit has never been to the Super Bowl, considering just how long this franchise has been around. Bobby Layne and the 50s are before virtually all the current NFL followers time. I wouldn't be suprised if Favre comes back next year because of how well he played this year, last throw of the NFC Championship game aside, and how close he came to the Super Bowl.

The zebras basically handed the game to New Orleans with that bogus pass interference call.

Of course, because they were dropping the ball so much and because Favre is an idiot, Minnesota kinda deserved to lose so.... eh.

But Fox couldn't stop greasing Favre.  I never woulda guessed the Saints had a qb if that was the first football game I ever watched.

    Yes they should.

Romo replaced Farve monday. Any one in the SB that made the Probowl does not have to play in the probowl.

Moveing the PB to the week before the SB may finaly kill it, or just force them to move it back to Hawaii were its just a free vacation for those players.

Around here, if you didn't do your Super Bowl shopping the same time you did your pre-storm shopping, you could have a problem.   We are supposed to be getting a few feet of snow in the next 48 hours and we are having our ritual pre-snow panic:  running to the grocery stores, emptying the shelves of bread, milk, bananas, and toilet paper then running to the hardware stores and emptying the shelves of shovels and salt.

Snow is coming:  we must panic!

Can't we divert this snow to Vancouver?  They need it.

As for the Super Bowl, anyone in the area who has tickets won't get there unless they leave in the next 12 hours or so.

and, oh yeah, I'm making chili.

Yes, before it snows, everyone always runs out the the store to buy milk, eggs, and bread... just in case they get a hankering for french toast during the storm. 34.gif

My favorite site so far:        18.gif

People need to get a grip.  Most of the area isn't even expected to get any ice.

Ice, I worry about.  Ice can bring down the power lines.   One ice storm years ago brought down the power lines in literally hundreds of places.  took days to get everything up and running.

    But this is just snow.

I saw one guy yesterday who was upset that his favorite grocery store was sold out of Doritos and he needed them for the Superbowl.

Wow... I'm just kinda laughing at the reports about how outrageous people are behaving over a heavy snowstorm, even if snow is not common in the area. Though I would be worried about that rain that the storm will dump over most of the North Carolina coast.

My tip for DC residents who have to go out: slow down (and, please, relay that to people you know). Here, slowing down in a snowstorm usually speeds up your commute (with the notable exception of this past Tuesday when it was icy and blowing about in addition to the snow, and my commute to school took me 2.5 hours instead of the usual 50 minutes, but that was during rush hour, and the slowdowns were because of usually very busy highway interchanges).

As for food for the Super Bowl, I have no idea what I'm going to eat. Though my uncle and aunt usually have fantastic food at their Super Bowl parties. Though it may be a little tricky with 6 inches of snow forecast to fall here on Sunday. Just as long as there's no ice or wind, things should be all gravy.

Nothing, but the way people hoard the ingredients for it before storms, you'd think they were preparing to hunker down for a seige.

Running out of bread isn't the end of the world. There should be plenty of other stuff in the house to eat. And even if for whatever crazy reason there isn't, the storm will be over soon enough and you won't starve if you don't stock up beforehand. 21.gif
