Potniški Promet Celje (PPC)  (Public transport of Celje)

    pp-celje.jpg

This is the scheme of the Tram city lines(MPP)

    shema-mpp-tramvaj-1.png

The green elipses are parks and larger green areas of the town, the arrows are where the system still needs to expand, the stops are black/red things on the lines.light blue are rivers the thicker grey lines with red circles are rail lines with stations.

Now these are the trams we use in Celje:

    simcity-4-2008-12-20-22-.jpg

they are couloured in the colours of the Celje flag, as is all of the Celje Public transit, and most of the other cities public network, because this is currently the only company in the countesy (however owned by the government) that does real lines.

Here are some pictures, with tram lines on them, just to get the feel of how you can travel around the city.

The main hub in front of the rail station (numbers1,2,3,4,5,17,20have an ending here; 7,15,16 pass):

    simcity-4-2009-01-11-00-.jpg

Now these arent the latest pictures, because there has been some new development and a few new lines, that are already on the scheme. Those pictures will come soon, but in the next update. So here are some more.

    The museums quarter (11)

    and the presidential palace

P+R Tekava (where you can take a bus or a tram (2 and 6))

P+R Tunše (with rail station, bus and underground tram station; lines 22 and 23)

    Sports park Celeia (2, 6, 22 and 23)

    simcity-4-2009-01-11-00-.jpg

Turning point on Teharska, before Teharje (14 and 18 turn back here, 5 and 16 continue)

    simcity-4-2009-01-11-00-.jpg

One of the bussiest parts of the MPP tram system on the side of the Count Friderik's boulevard (numbers 1,4,5,6,8,9,10,12,13,16 and 18 pass it)

    simcity-4-2009-01-11-00-.jpg

If desired, there will be another post about tram network, if not, I am sure we can find something else to please you! Take care and thanks in forward and back for all of your lovely comments, I very much appreciate it.

Hehe Thanks! Well to reply the question of Dejavu This kind of is Ljubljana, you probably can find some similarities. I don't think that there will be a city called like that in this region. I have two bigger cities in plans, but they already have names: Koper and Gorica, they won't be over 70000 however, but anything less would than be a bit humiliating for Ljubljana, because, it is a capital of our contry and thus can only be not built. =)

I really like how you have laid out the city with the sidewalks, buildings and trams, it all comes together and creates such a great look, good job!

There's been some new development of the city MPP (Public transport). You can checkout the map for the new lines (allthough the map gained some renovation too), lines 22 and 23 in the northeast. The lines are mostly on existing tracks, but the main part (the part that they were established for) is new and runs from Visoko polje and emidiately goes underground, then it has stops (P-> underground) at the city ZOO, P+R Tun

There will be new and modern architecture in Celje!

It hasn't been yet aprooved by the city government, but rumour has it that the investors will begin building the complex soon. The complex will be built on a large unbuilt area (measures 464x 64 metres) on the north of Celje City. The complex will have two highrises (70 and 60 metres high) and some lower development in beetwen to connect it all together. The winner of the architectural competition is arch. office StruckAR and here the renders.

Now this is just one part of the area (however it is at least 70% of the whole area; i have 6x4 squares left)

     The site plan:

    projekt-celje7.jpg

The higher of the two towers:

    (front)

    projekt-celje6.jpg

    (back)

    projekt-celje3.jpg

You can spot the smaller one in behind.

The smaller, which is to be a hotel:

    projekt-celje5.jpg

    (back)

    projekt-celje2.jpg

The whole site from the front:

Development in SC4 will start when i find a way to get the Lot editor working.

And in this one (by DAKS), there are also built highways (orange), highways in construction (grey), and all marked with A (#) (A= Avtocesta-> Highway) The cities are also marked and so are the future possibilities for the new highways and motorways.

Thank you kj3400, I have some connections in DAKS and, have heard, that the orange option with yellow part in Celje-jug will be constructed. As the source says there are 2 bridges (350m and 500m long) and at least 3 tunnels (450m, 2600m and 3500m long) in the plans, with 3 cloverleaf exits and one trumpet exit in plans, however the last exit which is to be a diamond shaped exit, will be an intersection (1 level) and will remain until the highway gets the remaining part going towards Koper.

    Greetings from DAKS!

We're pleased to let you know, that the rest of the A2 Highway is connected, this however isn't going to be a permanent solution, there will be some more redevelopment at least in the Koper municipality. However for present situation with the traffic flowing out and in to the Port of Koper (Luka Koper- LK) the situation is as shown in the pictures of the A2 section Dom

It's all right. Sometimes it takes me a week from when I think of an update to when I actually update my CJ. It happens! But I must say, your planning is superb. Although I would suggest a terrain mod, but that's it. Keep it up!44.gif

There will be a new city presented, maybe today, or tomorow, so make sure you don't miss it.

@kj3400: Thanks! What do you mean terrain mod? What kind of a terrain mod? I mean why, because I don't get it why. =) cheers

Here it is! The second largest city in the countesy: Koper. Koper is also the biggest and actually the only port in Slovenia.

                              baner-koper.jpg

The flag is red and blue. It has a blue coat of arms with a sun smiling:

    zastava-koper.jpg

So let's start. If you arrive by train (at this moment it is only possible to do that from Celje), or via the highway, you arrive here:

This is an interchange between the rail Dom

    Thank you very much jacquilina.

Today's picture's are taken in a new city I've made on the new streches of land I created.

    simcity-4-2009-05-22-18-.jpg

    simcity-4-2009-05-22-18-.jpg

    simcity-4-2009-05-22-18-.jpg

Why i did that? cause the region was a bit too small too me. It was like 50x50km in original, now it's approx. 80x65km. So on this plot of land I've decided to have the new second largest city (which shall count at least 130.000 people), with small docks, nice old town with marina, a hotel resort (of course small- because everything I do is small in a small region) and an airport, oh and not to forget... a tram system. Of course a lot smaller than the one in Celje and mostly the T-RAM version =D

The city is called Milje. It has 54.000 residents at the moment, but I'm working hard on that number, so I reach 130 or more. So let's start, by the northern entrance to the city. You can drive yourself or are driven here by the road from Trbi

So I actually lost my account and also started on a new project, that is currently starting with a MD on the SC4D. The reason I started a new project is, because I wanted to build a real big city, with everything made big and as much as it can get up to scale, which I now am doing. So this is totaly inactive and stuff.

But you are very much welcome to my new MD called CUR- Celje urban region, which also features Celje (I can't help myself) and can be found here:
