Oh, ok... I'm glad someone could help.

Nice update and teasers again... I like your mix of custom content and in-game stuff, I think it's just the right amount.

    replies:

Tomasneto: lol the captains hiding in his house, too many tourists in the city now lol, thanks for replying though.

    ComputerGuy890100: thanks.

PhilsCafe: yea dunno how the pictures are yet we'll see in about a million updates time lol (thats how far i am on this cj)

and yea with the cities and stuff i just go with whatever happens lol, its not really oh i want to have this and that.

it sucks mainly with a city i gotta plop everything cause nothing gets built.

Petrovar Ambassador: nah, i don't think i have photoshop, how do you get it??

Gn_leugim: lol i wanted something to do with portugal... noone really does it and i need some storyline behind it so yea... thanks for replying.

Update 5: the north side of the river.

more farms took place at badajoz to keep demands of some food, the sugar cane and corn farms in portugain will mainly be used for ethanol as many mistakes had been learned in pollution by other cities like kyoto and new york etc, as there aren't many they will only be used for sugar products. not to mention portuguese people also love there wine and therefore plenty of wineries too.

(it was hard to get sugar cane/corn and wine yards so you might not see many)

    BadajozBay-Oct25021231290490.jpg

even more houses had been proposed demand for people to come and live here was skyrocketing but the portuguese only had limited supplies and money so they could only go at they're own pace. so some of the farms were removed or replaced for new zoning.

    BadajozBay-Feb9051231293425.jpg

    and not too long after...

    BadajozBay-Dec28071231301719-1.jpg

    BadajozBay-Feb14051231295267-1.jpg

even more zoning and finally the first but very small stadium was built and would be named FC Badajoz and would start in the division 2 league of portugal. other than football (portugals main passion) portugain would be trying to get the portuguese interested in more sports like baseball, rugby, hockey, swimming and tennis.

    BadajozBay-Feb12051231295219.jpg

and thats it for now i will be showing very good teaser later and i hope you like it.

Update 6- the city and its buildings

the demand for jobs and skyrise buildings was rising high and so was the tention to get them built.

the there it was the idea but where to put it??? and bingo with the highway and main road in place so was the new spot for a city.

    BadajozBay-Feb9051231293440.jpg

and then not too long after the completion of a few buildings and the zoning of others.

the tallest already been built and nothin in badajoz would overpass this... for now...or maybe at all... it was now the badajoz bank tower.

    BadajozBay-Feb10051231294633.jpg

and just a night picture of the stadium there

    BadajozBay-Mar6131231483041.jpg

the demanding aprtments had been completed although only a few but still enough. (this just photo i thought i would take)

    BadajozBay-Feb4071231299082.jpg

the city is growing and with great capacity and people. more buildings being built with more jobs.

    BadajozBay-Nov1091231388287.jpg

mean while on the south side of the river the same was happening... more jobs and more apartments

    BadajozBay-Jun10061231297269.jpg

and finally a picture of what ive done at this point on the north side of the river (sorry about picture quality)

    BadajozBay-Oct1081231303997.jpg

i changed my mind about the teaser lol but i hope you like this update.

    Update 7-OMG!!!!!

this is the biggest update in the world... i'm in a hurry cause im way ahead of this cj and im in a hurry to show you how awesome some of my cities i've done. what i've started with here in badajoz is nothing what is still to come is a so prepare yourself.

SOOOOO here it is were i left badajoz bay truly awesome...

Finaly a new Stadium was built for FC Badajoz as every time they played there stadium was packed

FC badajoz came second in the league and therefore was promoted again and again and now they're in the superliga playing against S.L Benfica and FC Porto. the old stadium would be used for the FC Badajoz youth team.

    BadajozBay-Feb6131231482757.jpg

and heres a picture with the surrounding development.

    BadajozBay-Feb2131231482598.jpg

heres the badajoz Marina everything was in Badajoz except boats and therefore no one could go fishing one of the worlds most popular sports other than football i'd say. anyone near the coast or big rivers with fish just about goes fishing.

    BadajozBay-Dec31071231301975.jpg

heres the first golf course in badajoz and one of the best in portugal. along side is the first baseball stadium called Badajoz Carrekas (stands for bold people dunno how its spelt but it sounds cool lol). and the badajoz city beach.

    BadajozBay-Jan12131231482475.jpg

here next to the beach and gold course is the first china town, just like everywhere else in the world chinese have also invaded portugain lol.

    BadajozBay-Jan16131231482522.jpg

heres some more pictures of the city, new buildings having arisen from the ground.

    BadajozBay-Mar2131231482996.jpg

    BadajozBay-Mar4131231483006.jpg

this is probly my favourite (city part) of the city... i just think it looks pretty cool.

    BadajozBay-Aug13111231464144.jpg

and an overview of part of the city and garbage and industry areas near the mountain.

    BadajozBay-May6131231483307.jpg

and another overview of the FC Badajoz new stadium and you can just see where the golf course is at the bottom of the screen.

    BadajozBay-Apr19131231483228.jpg

and the badajoz bay which extends out into another square thingy.

    BadajozBay-Nov7091231388323.jpg

now we start heading back onto the other side of badajoz taking a look at the one bridge that crosses the river for kilometers.

    BadajozBay-Apr23131231483252.jpg

and over view of this part of the city at night

    BadajozBay-Apr30131231483274.jpg

and a closer view during the day

    BadajozBay-Feb11091231386036-1.jpg

so i hope you like this HUUUUGGGEEEE UPDATE and dont forget

    update 8- other badajoz bay

this is the actual badajoz bay and the reason i named the other city badajoz bay mainly. but here it is... this is just mainly a holiday resort area. with plenty of hotels and stuff.

    BadajozBay-Oct7001231649220.jpg

    BadajozBay-Oct3001231649189.jpg

heres some more with the local 2 wineries there for wine tasting for the locals.

    BadajozBay-Nov28051231653810.jpg

and this is badajoz's most best hotel at 5 and half star with extra-ordinary ocean views and beach nearby.

also is the new stadium for the new football team called Badajoz City FC and the stadium as you can see is also used for athletics.

    BadajozBay-Oct20001231649282.jpg

and this is part connects to where the golf course and china town is.

    BadajozBay-May8021231651750.jpg

and thats it i hope ya'll like it.

Not bad. You've made a lot of improvements since your earlier CJ's and it shows. I like your mix of custom content and I like your shore areas a lot.

I don't mean to sound harsh, but I think the lack of replies has to do with the sometimes terse, if not blunt comments you make in other CJ's. While you may have a point to make, it might be worth it to try and make your comments in other CJs more friendly, i.e. there is a constructive and nicer way to criticize.

Anyhow, keep up the good work with your CJ.

suplado!: yea it did, and the region will grow fast too thanks for replying though.

    ComputerGuy890100: thanks a lot.

dfnva: ok thanks a lot ill try to be "more constructive" with my criticism of not say its good when its bad lol. ummm yea it is better than my last cj's but this one does get better also i keep showing the worst of my cities first and that maybe draws people away too??

jacqulina: maybe but what do you mean like just not putting anything there for the beach and just leaving it as it ends up?? maybe i could try it and see...

also for everyone since i now have school and lots of work to be doing there wont be many updates all the time... this is merely to let you guys know, to try get some more replies and also to do this "replies" thing.

Much Much MUCH improvement from your earlier City journals. Try this, terrain mods and less maxis. Some of the building look like New York. Look on the STEX and LEX to find some Portugalian buildings.

    jacqulina: ok thanks...

Twenty20: yea i know the beaches are a problem but there's not much i can do

Evillions: yea i know everyone always says terrain mods and stuff but i sort of like the normal maxis one so i just leave it...

although the terrain mod that gives you snow on your mountains after a certain height *i think it does that* is pretty cool.

and its pretty hard to get any less maxis than that man so yea... also i find that after you download heaps of stuff other thing get forgotten like some of my cobb buildings and like this shark hotel never gets built. and there is not *portuguese* buildings. thanks for replying though.

    Hawkeye9: thanks a lot.

    update 9: Badajoz farms

here are some of the badajoz farms that later grow into massive suburbs.

as you can see there is many farms and houses already built.

    BadajozFarms-Jan2021231459599.jpg

again more and more farms being grown is corn and sugar cane although sugar cane was expensive to grow and hard to look after many went for the corn option

    BadajozFarms-Mar20031231459695.jpg

    BadajozFarms-Jan3021231459608.jpg

then before we know it farms where being removed and turned into luxury homes for people.

    BadajozFarms-May29041231991349.jpg

and new zones and more areas continue to grow

    BadajozFarms-Sep15041232152375.jpg

    BadajozFarms-Jun9041231995090.jpg

and grow and until finally planning had stop for this area as these farmers wouldn't give up the land

    BadajozFarms-Nov9051232152508.jpg

but the ones that did give up the land got these type of houses.

Sorry to hear those farms are being developed into upper class homes, but that's what's happening here a lot just outside of Washington, DC. The farms looked great in the setting and I liked your choice of custom content for some of the farms. As far as the roads, I like your extensive use of roundabouts.
