Missing items

I've been looking around my cities and have noticed that a lot of items are gone. Example, I look around and notice that all of my parks have a lone lamp post instead of a bench and trees. Another example, a lot of my business do not have parking lots anymore and look mostly blan instead filled with objects and cool features. I think the culprit is the porkie props add-on but I'm not sure. I can give a list of add-ons I have if needed and any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Make sure your City Detail (Graphics Options) is set to high. Trust me, it's quite easy to overlook. 21.gif

I'm having the same problem. Sim City 4 Deluxe, NAM (latest version, recommended install), Industry Quadrupler, RedBluishGreen water mod and the roundish street ending mod.

I can't see any parks in the game. Just patches of green.

    Has this issue been resolved?

Have your parks worked before and now you don't see them? You can try a couple things:

    1) Check you game's graphics settings. 'Low' settings won't allow some details to show up. Reset to "Medium' or High'.

    2) Try running the game in a new test city without any plugins. If all is well, then some conflict exists with the plugins. (Although, you don't seem to have that many.) Replace the one at a time or in small groups to find the problem.

    Hope this helps...

    Json3000...

    A couple questions...

Are the missing items on Maxis lots, things you've downloaded, or both? (Could be a dependency issue.)

Does it occur in cities you're just beginning or has it suddenly appeared in established cities?

Also, do you have the two bldgprop files in your plugin folder?

    Let us know...

I have the same problem. I uninstalled the game and then reinstalled it and all worked well. I then installed the update from the official site and that's when the props in the parks, gardens and plazas disappeared. I never even got the NAM reinstalled before I found the problem.

    cswetye...

When you installed the update, the graphics setting were probably reset to 'Low' (this is usually the case). Check your settings and set to 'Medium' or 'High' to see the details. Hope this does it for you...

Hi! I have the same problem. The missing items are on both Maxis and downloaded lots. It suddenly appeared in established cities. I only have bldgprop_vol1 and bldgprop_vol2 in my plugin folder.

I think I've solved the problem by uninstalling the recently installed Container Generator from simpeg. Since Simpeg's lots are always well builded and failed proof, I'm not sure that really was the problem, but aparently things have stopped to dissapear after that. But what is gone, is gone forever until you rebild it.
