Which Building?

Hello everyone, I have a quick question about which  BAT I should focus on. Recently, I started on many buildings, and multi tasking with them back and forth, and I want to finish one of them sooner then finish another. So I request any one's opinion on which of these buildings I should focus on:

60 Wall Street(from New York)
130 Liberty Street(the Deutsche Bank Building near Ground Zero)
Amsouth Bank Tower(from Shreveport Louisiana I think it is now occupied Regions Bank)
One Times Square(from New York)
3 Buildings of my Imagination
The Downtown Athletic Club(from New York)
The Twin Towers of the World Trade Center
A 3rd version of 85 West Street
Original World Trade Center Seven
A building near the Petronas Twin towers called Bangunan BSN

Which one do you think I should focus on first and work on untill it is finished?

Well, in the first place, not 60 Wall Street, as it is the ugliest looking building to disgrace the streets of Manhattan.

You should do either Deutsche Bank, as the game needs more international style boxes or a nice post modern building like AmSouth Tower. But that's just my opinion

I'm sorry ya'll I don't think I can get any pics of thier progress to you, which would be a smarter thing to do wen starting some discusion like this. But most of them are no where near finished. Most of them are just basic shapes with window and wall details sarted. I was mostly intending on random opinions then just showing them.

I use sketchup so it is difficult to show my progress. I'll try and see what I can do, so far all I can do is describe.

    Posting a picture is easy:

Press the Print Screen button on your keyboard.  It should be near the scroll lock and the pause break.

Then paste it into your favorite image editing program, ms paint will do.

    2hdnqmx.jpg

You will then want to upload your picture to a website, Tinypic works very well and is very fast.

Then paste the direct link that the website gives you after uploading into the image editor box:

    24m8hlx.jpg

Remember to keep within the image size limits:

    800x600,

    600x800

Good luck and post back here if you have anymore questions!

^wow. Im pretty sure you could have linked to a tutorial and saved yourself an hour 3.gif

Personally, I would go for Deutsche Bank, but almost all of them sound good.

Thanks for that tip SWAT-MEDIC, I'll try to get some pictures,

really I just wanted this to be just opinions on which one

I should finish first instead of it being my BAT thread.

I didn't think people on this site would

really wnat to see sketch up models

in progress before turning into BATs.

2irrk7t.jpgHeres a pic of the Deutsche Bank. For now, its just a single wall, untill I finish this wall however, I'll copy 3 extra walls from it to put it together which will make one single building. I'm doing this technique with the Twin Towers of the WTC too. I'm not using it on certain buildings though.

353e4bc.jpg Heres a pic of the Am South Bank in Shreveport. Its basic shape is done and I'm working on the windows on the concrete walls before I work on the all glass panels. Please note that most of the buildings I do are based on real buildings but I change them up slightly so major accuracy is not a factor.

1552ujm.jpgWell, 3 posts in a row but heres another pic with 60 Wall Street in it. Hopefully no one is getting bored with this or instantly switching to a new thread after seeing the posts on how to put pics on here. On this model, the basic shapes are done and I started on the windows. I doubt I'm going to do this one first, but its worth to show its progress.

Thanks, I have more, I show some. This thread is mostly about which one should I focus on more, but I think Its turning into my own BAT thread. Any way, heres One Times Square, The billboard textures aren't really up-to-date but I'm still pleased with it.

    f5ahdk.jpg

Here is my latest progress on 130 Liberty Street. So far, I think this might the BAT I'll focus on first, unless there is a chance that the other ones I show change that.

Well, now I'm going to show every building I'm working on then I might start my own official BAT thread. Here's all of the rest:

    n2l7xk.jpg

    14mqr81.jpg

    2mrrxpf.jpg

    11t278n.jpg

    1t0kkg.jpg

    1zyfv47.jpg

    10s937a.jpg

I'm going to wait until I know for sure which building I'm going to focus on first before starting my own BAT thread. This discussion is just to figure out which one to focus on. So, now that ya'll have seem all of them, which one do you think I should focus on?

In my opinion, either the first one, sixth one or seventh one. I think there is potential there and there don't seem to be thousands of buildings on SimCity that look exactly like those.

Thanks for those replies. The last one is the WTC. I mentioned at the top "The Twin Towers of the World Trade Center". I'm fully aware of the other WTC already made by rubik3, I just wanted to take a shot at it myself and make a more "based on" version then a fully accurate one like his.
Hopefully I can get more opinions by the end of the day, in matters of which BAT I should fully focus on first. They will all eventually be made, I just wanted to see what fellow members would think about seeing which completed first.

I want to start my own BAT thread, but I don't think most people would be interested in seeing them in sketchup before being exported in 3ds for BAT. I also think that most people suggest to learn gmax instead of using sketchup, because it is really easy and probably because you can't see a rendering of the model until its exported. So, would it be a good Idea to make a BAT thread even though I use sketchup first then put it in BAT?

I'd pick the downtown athletic club 3.gif !

You did a wonderful job on it so far, and i'd really like to see how it turns.

The majority of BATers use BAT, but some use sketchup instead, and there is no problem in creating a BAT thread.

I'm really curious to see your progresses on those models 4.gif !
