During my many late night contracting sessions at Bluprint+Plus (A Swamper Sign Affiliate), My scetches of some of my passenger cabins have been completed! Even though it will take at least 10 more years to get the actuall product out of all these efforts, I am happy with these recent results.
O ya, my plans are to be releaced on July 13! So plan ahead people!

For the little time that I have, I finally got around to make a small update.

 

But I would like to say something about the Nexis Country Church first. Be aware that you probably downloaded the file with missing files. So now I have updated it. Just delete the first one you downloaded and get this one, it has everything necessary for the lot to appear in your towns. I am terribly sorry for the inconveniance it might have caused. I am very (VERY) busy in real life ( construction is going like crazy and everyone wants a home designed Loghome this year) I am always in a rush to come and leave Simtropolis lately , so I can forget some things.Hope you'll fogive me. But it will not happen anymore, since I will take my time now and you people have to wait to see my BATs on the STEX.

Ok, there is another thing that I have to talk to you also,the city of Axis (Axis City) has a serious file problem that I have not resolved yet,(the problem is actually in the cityfile) but I need some free time to do the research to find out the problem, hoping to solve it. I might have to destroy it though and if this is necessary, then we will have some fun with that City first, in the CJ.

 

So, here are some pics of Axis City, just in case that we might loose it.

 

This is an Overview of the City today, it has 52k population, more than Gloryville, the Capitol. I have marked some houses that we know. Like the House of Wren Trey, which is for sale, since he likes it a lot better in Nexis City and might move there. Also he changed his mind about opening a store in Axis, since he is moving to Nexis City.
Then we can see Vatt's home at the canal corner and the Laboratory, where he started working, just on the other side of the canal in the Industrial Park.
Henry Zeddicton has his store more on the bottom of the picture in the Commercial Sector, doing quite well so far.
And of course, we can clearly see the work in the parks of Elizabeth White, having made the canal and highway much more attractive.

 

Just behind the Cobb building, a big shopping Center was built to be of convenience for many towns around Axis South. This Center was built by a Newcomer, named Sven, they say he will be doing some Real Estate on Genesis, which has a nice futur ahead. Hm.....will this give Mr Freddy Bison some serious competition? The money to build the shopping Center was financed by the Axis South First National Bank at a higher rate (because of the risk) and now Sven has large *fardo* on his back, a Giga Debt!. The Bank believed him when he presented this idea to make a living. Some say that he is crazy to start like this at a young age like this. Sven only answered this by singing *It's now or never...*.
 Here is also the store of Adley Hawklyn from the Hawklyn Valley Farms in West Axis. He rented a part of the Mall to sell the products of his farms. Getting to be known quite a bit now, because of the quality food that he produces and provides, Adley decided to invest his last cents (and why not) in more land in West Axis. The only thing is to find good and stable workers now. It is now the Biggest farm on Genesis. I wonder if he got finally married?

While I was flying over downtown Axis to take some pictures, with my friend Ale ,who has the helicopter, we saw an accident happen right below our feet. Two cars completely lost control, and one of them even went into the ditch over the roadguards. I have no idea though, if there were any badly hurt and who was in it.
What I was going to show though on this picture ,is the new home of Tim, who is working on the Space Station with Evermind and is the Ground Director of this project. He has been living on the Army camp eversince and now got himself a real home now, just beside the highway in Axis City. He can hardly hear the traffic though, because of the treewall that Elizabeth White planted to keep the noises off the residential area. Tim had enough of spending sleepless nights at the camp, where there is always someone awake.

We saw Axis City yesterday, so today we will have a look at Axis South today, situated just below Axis City.

 

 This is an Overlook of the City, with the Garbage Dump in the North and also the Industrial Park , and the Town itself in the South. Here Adley Hawklyn , from the Hawklyn Fartms in West Axis, bought  a few acres of Farmland that an Older Lady had for sale, because she couldn't take care of it anymore. The land was Very expensive, but Adley didn't have much of a choice to buy, since agricultural Land is becoming harder to find. Now he doesn't have a cent to pay his workers next week, having spent it all on land,but hopefully he will sell enough products in Axis City to be able to finish the month.
Rico Az, who lives in this town in his appartments, is still the Manager for the Sports department in GGC-TV in Gloryville and he is doing fine  there. But here in his own town, and as being the Mayor, he is starting to have some problems with the  Giant landfill, that the previous Mayor Ciroyon left him. Trying to deal with Ciroyon from Axis City is not working either.

Lawyer Mr Night from the Stormy Night Law Offices in Dam City, has been figuring out how to cancel the garbage deals with the neighboring townships and find other solutions. Rico thought of just burning the garbage and producing electricity with it also, but studies for pollution have to be made before, to see, if it does not pollute more than the landfill. Mr Night and Mr Az will go to the Rulers of Gloryville next week for a meeting to find a solution for this immense problem in the beautiful town of Axis South.

 

Here I surprised Swamper from Swamper Signs Inc of Tenzel Outlet, dealing with a new store owner to make his commercial signs for their store. Nowadays , everywhere I go I see Swamper signs, stamped with his Company name. I guess he is doing well, since he has a whole team of 6 working for him now. In Tenzel , he is trying to buy the neighbor's land to enlarge his shop once more again.
On the bottom right, one can get him/herself some nice home made chocolate and coffee.Barby comes here once in awhile to buy her package of goodies, that she offers in her Vacation Villa in Gloryville to her best customers.

This is a downtown picture near the Hospital and the Movie theater. During Rush Hour, there seems to be a small blockage here once in awhile. Mayor Rico thinks of building another street nearby to help this strip with traffic to clear better.

This is the Sector near the Tenzel River, where the Town first started, and where all the richer folks live. It is not far from the Downtown, but not far grom the Sector of the poorer Sector.

Big Appartments, not very chic, but at least the roofs do not leak, are just beside the downtown. Mayor Rico wants to change this in the next years also. I guess he will have a lot of work to do, if he wants to do all these promisses.......

It seems that every time I come here to read, I spot more new buildings that I have never seen before, such as the Row Houses in the second Pictures of your last update, and the two medium-hight skyscraper in pictures 3 & 4. Are these your own creations, or downloaded from somewhere?

First, Thanks for the positive comments.

Sven, the rowhouses are just a lot that I made for the CJ, can't remember who made the BAT though.(? Maybe someone here knows)  It is on a simple parklot and you could do it better yourself. If you want it absolutely, just pm me with your e-mail (no hotmail please). The other two medium buildings, I have no idea which ones you are talking about, be more specific.

Today is Thursday,Canada Day, so I got some free time before I go to my camp. It is Nexis' turn, but not much to show, it doesn't change that fast. A nice overlook of Nexis City, so we can see where everyone lives or works.

In the Hills, there lives Troy Nexis and his wife Noyita Dice, they have a wonderful view over Rilian's Marina in the Bay below.- Dr Evel lives just beside where his Starbuck Caf

Hey, how do you get to that space station? I can't see anything where you could connect a space ship. And sorry that I haven't said anything recently, but vacations... You know. I was in place where trip to nearest computer with Internet was like 50 miles. Nic to hear that ZeCoSo is doing well. Now I would have to help myself, 'cause my comouter crashed totally and I lost all of my files. Guess am I happy...

Sorry to hear about your computer problems, Zeddic ,it happened to me once before too. It is a bummer, when it happens. I fully understand. Hope you had some back-ups on cd's.

 

To be honest, the station does not have a hook-up system for space ships yet, it is only in phase 2. The complete attach-entry will be in phase 3 and the telescope in phase 4, as J.O. asked. The entry is on the end of the section, where the *Space Ears* are.

The Main reason that the station is build, is because of the new Telescope and the possibility to observe the details of Opall and its destruction path. -Also, there will be a program for a team to have a look around into the other universes, something that even the Gaburans haven't done yet. The Phase 4 of the Space Station will all explain this, when time comes.

 

Terrible News!

Early this morning in Axis City, a couple of Appartment blocks were on fire, which the Fire department had problems to deal with their two trucks only.-- I don't have a good picture of the situation yet, that is all they gave me for the moment.

 

 Rico Az from Axis South and the Mayor from Gloryville have sent their help with more Firetrucks and even Tenzel Outlet and Grand Dam was asked for help. In Axis City, the Mayor Ciroyon kept the Fire department on a smaller budget, to help to pay off the immense debt of the city. *The fire department is way too small for the size of the City*, said Mr Rico Az from Axis South on the early News on TV,* luckily for them , we have 4 trucks and we will send them 3 this morning, hoping to be able to control the fire as soon as possible.*
They did not control the fire yet, but I will keep you informed.3 blocks have been burned already and it is spreading like a disease.The high winds don't help much either.

 

By the way, all this is happening right now and in the same district of Wren Trey and Vatt. Axis City will be closed until this is completely under control. The army, small as it is ,from Atlas was to send some help also.

Other news are: Ninten was approached by Troy Nexis , concerning a project in the newly founded township near the Evermind Mountain. Troy wants to create his own town also, by investing his money.The foothill of the Evermind Mountain seeems to be a nice location to start a new town and Ninten will take of the designing and planning. He was very pleased to have a full time job for a year at least.
The opening of this township was officially made yesterday and it is called *Smurfmind*. Smurfer and Evermind were the ones , who cut the ribbon. Both of them, many years ago, were the first ones to climb that mountain and ever since , others have conquered it on the same trail, the Smurfer Trail.

 

I will be going to Coarseville the next time, some say the town is growing rapidly , because of the MacVicar Mines. Alexander MacVicar has been digging into the mountain and I 'd like to see this. Also I hope they will let me into Axis City and see the progress in stopping the fire,......if they can......until then, have fun.

I have been too lazy to take backups. Latest backups are like a year old and I got SimCity on last november as a birthday present. I toke backups to physically another hard disk in Linux, but Windows installer formatted all partitions without any notifications. I'm a little bit angry to MS programmers now.
But back to earth... what did I say? I meant Genesis, of course. Nice lil' update you made. Smurfmind... Hmm... I'd like to know, how it turns out. Looks good. No, that fire doesn't look good; Axis F.D. needs more trucks.

Roundlake Junction is still a small village yet, and we still have to be patient to see its developpment.

 

First we have a look at all the other municipalities to see what's going on in each one of them, and today it's Coarseville, which has made some minor changes and is making some more important ones also, thanks to the MacVicar Mines.

 

The Overlook reveals that it has definitivly grown, and residential lots are selling very well. The Cause of this sudden demand are the Genesis Standard Mines at the foothill that Alexander MacVicar is running. I guess, everyone in the village is working for Mr MacVicar by now and more to come.

 

As we can see here, just yesterday, the underground Mines were finally openend and it added another 29 jobs to the village for the moment. Alexander MacVicar and his investors are finally selling the ore to many different Ore Manufacturing Companies, and one of them is Smurfer steel in Tenzel Outlet, who can't wait to finish his buildings to produce the steel, so badly needed on Genesis. Already Noyita Dice, Troy Nexis's wife, is waiting for the first shipment of steel beams to build the bridges in Nexis City and Roundlake Junction, a contract that she got from the Rulers in Gloryville.

 

Also Kevin Slayer , from Bolton (remember the Dice's Mansion?) heard about the Coarseville Mines' enourmous possibilty of ore production, that he got in touch with Mr MacVicar to make a deal. Mr Slayer was just hired by Troy Nexis to start a Factory, which can make iron, steel,copper, brass and other ore products. Like I said above and before, these products are badly needed, not only by this region, but also the northern and western regions have made the demand for shipping Steel in great quantity.

 

Slayer and MacVicor have come to an agreement, and Mr Night from the Stormy Night Law offices legalized the contract. Mr Night is very busy these days, with the garbage deals in Axis South, but also with the contract of the MacVicor Mines with all the others, such as Slayer,Smurfer, others and even Sven, of what I heard of, but we get to that later.
 Alexander, making his name known all over the Countryside,is moving the whole Nation it seems.I even overheard a Ruler last night in a small meeting,saying: * That Mc Wiker or whatever his name is, that we hear about all over the place,is about the greatest thing that could have happened to the Genesis's Economy.*

Right! This is the beginning of a powerful and important Man on Genesis ,I think.
Everyone hearing about the fortune and the developpment of the Mines, MacVicar decided to invest even more into his Mines, by selling parts of the buissness to investors, who are just waiting in front of his door. One of the investors is Sven, the young fellow that wants to go into Real Estate and make competition with Freddy Bison. He just bought some land from MacVicar, near the Mines, land that is not good enough for the Mines, but perfect to build a Residential Area for the futur workers. Hm.....well invested, I guess I came too late.
The Mines have started a night shift, and it is working 24 hrs/day with 3 shifts now.

Here we have a good look of the Mines, the underground Mine on the top left and the above ground Mine on the top right, plus the Factory below and land is being cleared  on the bottom for the residue and ore storage.
All what Coarseville needs now , is the railways, which the Mayor has made the demand for in the Gloryville Offices.
There is a tiny creek near the mines in the forest, and the Minister of Environment is obliging MacVicar to have it moved according to the laws of environment, not to pollute any waterways, no matter how small. In the interview last night with the responsable Ruler, he said: * The one thing we don't want to do on this planet is to make the same errors that we've done on Uru*, and then he added with a severe look,* Remember what it took to clean up all that mess we did?*

 

Sherlock Holmes will be responsable for the Security of the Mines, and he especially hired 6 more people to take care of Coarseville's Mines. The Mayor of Coarseville has signed a 5 year contract with Holmes. As Holmes was planning before, his ideas come out pretty good and this job in Coarseville will surely show others, what security could be like with the Genesis Security Services in place.

 

 

Next: We will go to Tenzel Outlet and see what the harbour is doing. I heard that it is doing very well, now that they established a connection with the Western Region. An it couldn't have come at a better time, since the Mines (again a regional boost in economy) are all behind this. - Plus we will talk about Treeland and the farming community( now needing to produce more than ever), have a look at DrEvel's giant Llama farm and also go visit the Razor Blade logging Industries, which cannot handle perfectly all the jobs they're getting anymore.
I am not sure when, but it will take a couple of days. Since the weather is beautiful here, I will go now to my cottage and relax irl. I'll be in contact though, later tonight, to see the comments.....lol.

Adley's Adventures: Apparently, Muridia places more importance on quality then it first appeared to. They have essentially given me what abouts to a billion dollars in Muridian funds for the first series of shipments to them. Very good people there. Rare these days for customers to voluntarily add enough to payments to cover transportation costs and taxes and all that junk. Now, to pay off my loans now before the interest gets too high.. Then perhaps visit with the lady I've seen from that farm to the north of mine....
