A sporty young Demoiselle ,named Evermind Wellwisher,and sporty a young lad,

named Smurfer,went on an expedition to climb a mountain,west of Bolton.No one has

done it before, but both of them did it and so it will stay in the history of

Genesis.The Rulers have decided, once they saw the beautiful photos that Evermind

shot, to keep this area mostly for a Nature Park. The trail they took is now

called * The Smurfer's Trail* which will lead right up to *Evermind

Mountain*.Evermind Wellwisher said that it has to be seen to explain. Smurfer

added that one can see the whole Nexis lake region and even a little lake not yet

discovered.He called it himself his lake, the Smurfer lake,a name which the

Rulers gladly accepted.Having seen this on television, the owner of the *Genesis

& Beyond* journal hired Evermind to tell her adventure in his magazine.She gladly

accepted.

 

Grand Dam is finished and production has started, the first connection to Axis

has been made and the town is receiving its electricity and water. A further

connection to Tenzel Outlet and Gloryville will be made in the following months.
The Valves have been closed and shortly after , the Dam Manager reported that 37

% of the capacity has already been reached.* No water shortage ever here* is what

he said to the Rulers at the official Opening Meeting.

The Hill that was left in the middle without flattening it and making room for

the bassin also, turned out to become a Natural Wildlife Reserve for water fowl.A

guardian for the Park was hired, but this park will not be opened to the

public,first because of the danger of its situation, plus the fragility of the

fauna and Flora.

The Grand View of the Grand Dam.A new village baptized * Grand Dam * has made its

appearance, where the Housings for the workers were.One must not forget, that

this whole Electricity and Water system needs more than 1000 Nexians to have it

run properly.Most of these workers are coming from Axis.
Because of the futur invasion of tourists to see this new wonder of Genesis,the

town of Grand Dam hired a fellow in Tenzel Outlet, who just started his small

buissness of sign-making.*Grand Dam needs a lot of signs to direct all these

tourists around *, the Mayor told Swamper(swamper77), a fresh immigrant.

Another Immigrant, Brett (brett131), was hired for Maintenance of the

waterpumps.18 Giant pumps will be pumping water 24 h/day all year 'round. What a

job!

Here is a detailed map to show us how the region is slowly developping. we can

still see that more than 75 % of the region has not been explored yet.Vallen

Nexis who started the Cartography of the region years ago,will now do more

interesting things, as he calls it.It is fishing, hunting, sailing,gardening, and

planning and thinking how to develop the Nexis Islands.

will have a solid start and others don't, but all will live the adventure of

*Nexis of Genesis*.

Well, I'm glad you liked your first week on Genesis. In my mind and on paper too, your futur has been already chosen.....lol.

 

If, and I said , if you want a building for your own use only anytime in the game,whether it's residential, commercial , industrial or other, you might send it to me. If it is small, I might use it in the near futur and if it is a big building, well, it'll be later.Whenever you are ready.

Otherwise I will use the buildings you mentioned before or ones that I pick for you..(and don't worry I will pick nice ones, maybe even add something with the BAT, just for you)...lol

UPDATE:

Today , Vallen Nexis publically announced the mariage of his son Troy and Noyita Dice.Having heard some rumours, he made everything straight and he stated, that this is not a political mariage. Because of the amount of wealth involved , from both sides, this could make a trmendous impact on politics.

Troy Nexis will take over the Dice Electronics, he has bought 60 % of the Company ( with help from his father Vallen of course) and it is now , since today, officially called Nexis Electronics Inc.

The office will be situated in Nexis on the Main Island and the manufacturing plants (Hi-Tech) will be in the New Axis and Tenzel Outlet. An approximate total of 700 employees will be hired to begin with. The construction of these buildings will start next month.

 

Also another announcement on televison  today was the Confirmation of the New Axis City, to be built north of Axis.The plans have already been made and the start of construction is as soon as workers are available.Hiring is done in the Administration office in Gloryville, starting tomorrow morning.

Gloryville's mayor smiled at Ciroyon's announcement and told the press that they will never have the quality that the Capitol will be offering.

Is that a sign of competition? hm.......

Of course,Troy's  younger brother Jadis , who just finished University on Uru, and his sister Lyll Nexis,who also finished studying on Uru, have both arrived from Uru just in time for the marriage by spaceship that brought in another 200 immigrants. Vallen was happy to see his kids after 3 years.

Rumors have that on Genesis there are some real shady characters. Hmmm......rumor has that Wilds security services from Wapiti Valley is looking to expand into new regions. Just thought I'd let you know about the rumors.

good update. I love this CJ. I have a question though. I'd assume that the road to the highway from gloryville is congested since there are so many poeple leaving to go to other cities (when the LBST is once again opperational of course.) So why not build a highway south of bolton and west of the very top of the Smurfer Trail. It could be a ground highway or even a low capacity highway (avenue). If Gloryville cannot afford that much for road maintence, why not put a toll booth(the first on genesis!) to balance the cost. It might even be a profit for the city.

Good thinking drevil, something similar is coming up and don't worry , a tollbooth will be there. This and much more has already been written, but first I want to make all the cities ' update, since I think, it is important that we watch all of the towns. The reason is simple, to let you in just a little in on one of the next adventure,.....there will be a big change with a municipality (even more than one I think) and it was unthinkable,even unbelievable, but it couldn't be stopped, and it was.......(sorry top secret)......

 

So, everything has its way and line and futur, even YOU.....

 

....but a short Highway (Hgwy4) will be built towards Gloryville, once the harbour is finished.V.Nexis will pay for it.

In Bolton, the Dice's Mansion is for sale, since Noyita Nexis (former Dice) lives with Troy Nexis in Red Poll now. Anyone interested? You must be have a big bank account.- It has a backyard of cobblestone, brought back from Uru,a swimmingpool with red marble from Mahoon and a home theater of 128 inches......Oh by the way....you should see the bedroom !!!! OMG ! It should be like sleeping on cloud 7..........

 

 

In the  next update we will talk about the Mega Expansion of the Razor Blade Looging Industries and some farms in Treeland, plus the new weekend Cottages in Red Poll and of course a bit about Bolton ( and not about you) and after that we will have some Newcomers to Genesis, and maybe some more pics of the Gloryville harbour.

 

With all of you, I have 39 characters to take care of, so, please be patient, your time will come, and let me tell you, it won't be that fast...........

Well, I Did Go out for a loan for just such an occasion, and I would love to live in that beautiful mansion. I have BIG plans for the future transportatio--oops Ive said too much!
Anyways.... It would definately be a nice addition to my blossoming empire!

Yesterday, a Vessel arrived with some new immigrants, almost 400 of them. We need them badly now with all the constructions going on all over the place. Another demand for 800 more Gaburans has made, and Ciroyon  will see if Mahoon can spare another 800 workers.( they will probably start wondering what we do with them all)

On this voyage,there were some new friends that we will follow in the journal and I will try to introduce them to you:

1. Jim, as soon as he got here, he was hired right at the spaceport as a construction worker for the Futur City of Axis.That wasn't too long, he didn't even have time to show his passport to the Immigration Officer and Mr vegetable spotted him to hire.
2. Miss Elizabeth White (couchpotato) was welcomed as an Art-student.
3. Tim (MayorTim), who was talking about the performance of the spaceship that he came with, that it would be possible to speed it up more, all during his flight to Genesis.
4.Evel (drevilshenchman), or as he calls himself, Dr Evel, but no one really knows, Doctor in what???
5. Alexander MacVicar (The Evil Octopus Man) a young guy who is dreaming of Mining other planets, might come in useful, no mining on Genesis yet.
6. Henry Zeddicton (Zeddic) a student in Computing,quite obsessive with computers as someone else mentioned.
7.and then a fellow, we don't know exactly where he's from, quite inventive and very interested in the LBST System. A new Daight Nexis? Welcome to Joao Otavio (J.O).

They will be housed at the Temporary Housing facility on  the mountain near the LBST in Gloryville, until they find a job.

Some more municipal updates. Bolton right in the middle of Axis and Gloryville, near the Highway and so far, the only place close enough, that has the access to it, is so busy, that the Mayor is freaking out.Some say that he is taking some drugs to calm him. The demand to zone residential in Bolton is extremely high, so high, that there is not enough space.The Mayor has to go to the Regional Administration Office to ask for more land.On this picture we can see all the cars going to Axis in the morning and below coming back to Gloryville.*this is just NUTS* a Construction worker said..*It takes me three times the time to go to Axis and come back home and they always ask me to do Overtime, and all that because of that crazy Mayor Ciroyon and his young towndesigner Mr Vegetable, who thinks he will be building the City of the Century there.....pfff.*

 

*If I would be the Mayor of Bolton*, a woman on the street said, * I would build a tollbooth right here on the highway. Imagine all that income Bolton would get?

By the way, I was right.Remember that we saw Slayer at the bank in Axis, well, it was to get a loan alright, one to buy the Dice's Mansion ( can be seen just above the Watertanks in Bolton). Now , all he has to do is make those lovely payments.Rumours also say, that he talks to everyone, how he wants to change the futur of the interstellar transportation system. Some think, that he talks too much.

 

...at night...

A township we havn't heard much of is Red Poll, west of New Sholes, who is making a lot of noise lately, by announcing their weekend dream houses in a scenery **to see to believe**, as they put it.Announced almost everywhere,that everyone now knows about it..Situated at the outlet of the Nexis Lake and on the sides of the Nexis river, this place was discovered by a man that is responsable for this township.He discovered it ,ever since they built a marina in New Sholes and took a ride up the river.A beautiful region with the winding river and its small hills.

No big Mansions are allowed here, also no big terrain to go along with the house, as a matter of fact, only Cottages are allowed.The Rulers of Genesis have made it very clear that they want to protect this beautiful valley.No cottage closer than 300 feet(approx100m) to the next one will be allowed and no changes are permitted to the terrain.Looks and feels like Paradise for those hard-working citizens form all over the country.-Some one said: this is the only place near the Great Lake, that is beautiful and Vallen Nexis didn't buy.

Ok, let's talk about Treeland now, the farming community and also where the biggest industry on Genesis is, the Razor Blade Logging Industries.Farms have been extending with the land being cleared by Razor Blade. As we know from earlier, the only place that the logging Company couldn't touch , was the mountain. There a retirement home was built.A Resident lady in her late 90's said: * they should feed their cattle more flowers, maybe they would stop smelling like this then*.

Here is a look at one of those bigger farms, that have these *not-so-good-smelling cattle*.But farming needs to be extended soon, since the Cities are growing like mad and the need  of food is rising. In Gloryville , they had a special meeting for this, and they have suggested that the Coarseville and Black Lake area might be good enough for farming too.The Mayor of Black Lake did not agree at all and showed everyone his discontentment with the idea.- I guess he had other plans for his village.

The next picture shows clearly the logging of the forests. Razzor Blade now has over 2000 Workers and is still growing, now with the construction of Axis City coming up too.

This shows exactly all the details of the Logging Company and its size, almost a town by itself. Now that the train comes through here too, it will be a lot easier for transportation of the logs to get here and the finished products going to town. But a store has been built here the same with special outlet prices of everything available at Razor Blade.

Here is a closer look at the center of this Mega Industry. Tim Chula, one of the first New Comers ,was offered a job as a small department Manager for the sawmill. We can see him talking to the forman on this picture, who shows his new Boss around. Tim never called the Police Chief for the Janitor job in Axis, since he heard of this job in a Bar nearby the next day, when he went to take a beer quietly with the local folks.

Here are the new expansions of  Razor Blade, the storage facilities ,the woodflooring production shed and where they make the pallets.The grand Ruler mentioned on one of the Ruler's meetings, that they might have to slow down this Company a bit. He is taking over the Monopoly too easily, killing every small buissness on its pass.

As the Company is working on three shifts, here is a night shot of the storage department.

The next update will be big, and I mean big in construction, the second biggest since the Grand Dam. We will be making an update of the beginning of the Constructions of Axis.The whole Landscape is being changed. 3,000 workers of all trades already working and asking for another 3,000.

Dark_Child, I love watching the traffic on this stretch of the Highway, it is fun to see it always at the same hours in the morning and at night.
