Looks like you're going to start off showing us the start of a new city rather then that obvious metropolis up north. 4.gif Well bring it on, I wouldnt mind watching the construction of a new city. And there's a river, even more interesting to watch.

the other city is Worthington. I'm making River City a canal town that has a strong art deco/modern architectual influence, there will be a historic downtown on the river and maybe some suburbs.

The canals look pretty good. I like how they wind all over the city (it's a look I just could never master myself). Some parts look a little strange, though, like where the canals transition between two tiles wide and one tile wide near the highways: it would probably look a bit cleaner if it stayed at one tile wide. Just a suggestion!

Looks great... I love SG's old canals!

If I could put in one suggestion... On your canal crossings, why not try and mix things up a bit? SG has some road/avenue crossings over the canal on the STEX: https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/details.cfm?id=13119&v=1 There are similar crossings in the narrow canal pack, and Barby created special bridges over at SC4devotion.com: https://www.sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=11 (you need to register to get in the LEX there). This will create more of the idea of a continuous canal as opposed to the compartmentalized bits.

Also, there are fancier canals with this same texture here: https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/index.cfm?id=13000

    Keep up the good work...!

Get more custom content. Such as more NDEX, BSC, BLAM, CSX. Those lots are good to any city. Personally if you want better demand and get better buildings. Get CAM, IT"S THE BOMB! And don't forget NAM. If you have NAM great.

its not bad but its not good either, its just... i dunno how to say it but i don't like it much,

your seawalls some buildings and canal systems are cool but just the way you use them.

    but keep it up.

Not to be too critical of the criticism... but what do you like about it?  And if there are things you don't like, in what ways could they be improved?

It's discouraging to get a message like "I don't like it much, but keep it up..." because it doesn't give any real info!

Here's another idea... Show us some close-ups of certain spots of your cities.  If there are some places that you've spent more time on than others or that look really cool, show us a close-up and maybe a couple of different angles.

I can't wait to see what else you've got to show us...!  This CJ's got lots of potential!!
