Hawkeye9: I sure hope so man! imagine "bal eruas, financial capitl of the world...." lol, if you don't beat me too it that is. anyway, i like those low bridges too, ferrys can't get though, but i used to always build the bridges so high up so that ferrys could get through an then i would never build any ferry terminals, so i though why not just have them as low as you can go!

NMUSpidey: LOL  NMUSpidey, don't worry, thats just a one time price and the store is yours. i think you would save money just buying a shop for 900k then renting it for 75,000 a month however  (1 year for 900,000 or ever for 900,000. your choice!)

Shingure: its my hometown (well, i live in allentown 45 minutes to the north...) and that is partly why i chose this map. i hope i don't dissapoint you with how i buidl the city. though, i don't actually plan on building where philly downtown is now, between the Delaware and Schukil (i could never spell that river right!) but more towards the camden side in Jersey. i might eventually move over to the Philly side, but if i did, that would be like in a month or more. anyway, thanks for the comment and kind words!

I will start accepting applications for Embassies in New Auria now. if you are intrested, just give me a link to the buidling you want to be used as your embassy (or if you don't have one i will get one for you) and a link to your CJ if you have one. i will focus an entire update on Embassies and Foreign Relations.... soooo, the more applications in a faster speed would be great! i hope this will be the beggining of great foreign realtions between New Auria and Nations abroad!

P.S, it possible, if you have an Embassy built in New Auria, New Auria would also like an embassy in your city.

- instate a few new taxes to even out New Auria's Budget deficit.

- remove some members of his cabinet including the secratary of defense and the secratary oif commerce.

- expirence includes mayor of Chelleon, serving 3 terms lasting a total of 6 years

- Senator representing Chelleon's North District for  terms of 6 years.

- CEO of Aurian Oil Company, one of the largest producers of crude oil in the world. he has turned the company financially around from near bankrupcy

- he is an open homosexual, being with his boyfriend, Mario Sanchez for the past 14 years. 

- his running mate(s) is/are Mario Sanchez and Mellisa Boyd.

- is a free thinker, with a tendancy to lean towards more liberal veiws. 

- as mayor, he cut the city's police force in half to save money. saw a rise of crime and reinstated them

- is said to be obssed with coming up with a perfect plan to negate the reccesion's hold on New Auria's economy

If elected he vows to:

-"i cannot not make you promises as of now, but there are several things that i would intend to do"

- gay rights and marriage

- a bailout plan for failing companies within New Auria

- Ethics reform specifically and i quote "squishing all the roaches hiding with the E.R Huss building"

- cut goverment spending

before i start the embassy update, i would just like to breif you all on how the presidential debate went. 

the winner of the the debate was whoever you liked before it happened. no one was a definitive winner, though Steve Fulworth stuck out of the pack slightly. Liz Hertz was described by many analysts as "out of it" and by others as "confused and disoriented the entire time". 

before the debate, which was held in the Zohler Center in Bal Eraus, all the canidates did campaigning around the city. every intersection was hgihly congested due to extremely tight security. 

Senator Liz Hertz gatherd a meager crowd earlier today at her campaign stop at the Bal Eraus School Campus. 

Mayor Ed Frost garnered quite a few supporters in front of the Zohler Center a few hours before the debate for a pre debate rally. 

Whoever was not attending Liz or Ed's rallys was on the green lawn at the newly finished New Auria Presidential Mansion in Downtown Bal Eruas. the mansion, which was built by the current administration, was the location of the largest political gathering that day. thousands of Fulworth supporters came out to here the president speak before that nights big debate.

alright.... i'm back after a week or so of..... other stuff. well, since i'm off school because of snow today, i decided to have a mini update!!! the Colony of Flauritar is thriving.... in fact, Bal Eruas is no longer the only city in the colony... another municipality has sprung up outside city limits..... the City of Godsburgh. it sprung from the ground in less than a years time and is already giving Bal Eraus a Run for its Money with beautful parks, affordable residential developments and an ever extending skyline. heres a teaser before the full update.....  oh and thanks Sirunger, you can wait no longer!

Happy New Years from the Republic of New Auria. the new year has come and it is time to get this show on the road! let this be a good year for all and let it bring prosperity and good health to everyone!!! Happy new years to all!

alright, i come before to you today with my newest part of New Auria! in flauritar, as i mentioned a few updates ago, we have the city of Bal Eraus devolping very nicely being funded by the New Aurian Government. but now, with the commericial success of Bal Eruas, several organizations got together and began a joint funded project with the government to create another municipality within the state of Fluaritar. the new City, named godsburgh, is in the early phases of construction as documented by the few photoes below. i hope you all enjoy the growth of godsburgh!

the plot of land that will serve as the epicenter of the Godsburgh Project. if all goes well, a port is slated for construction in a few years time on the "horn" on the bottom right hand corner. 

a single stretch of freeway was built between Bal Eruas and Godsburgh for easy access between the two to-be metropolises. plans for another stretch of highway between the two cities is also in the works, once again (fingers crossed) if all goes well. pictured above is a bridge without a name as of now, hopefully a symbol of the city in the future. 

construction begining in the waterfront district of Godsburgh. original plans for the area was to be a strip of skyscrapers along the water, however, the devolpment commitee has been persauded by a generous contribution by New Aurian Billionaire, Sam Donner, to construct a stretch of parkway along the waterfront in memory of his brother, Andy Donner who was hit and killed by a car when out for a morning walk . the park will have many walking/jogging trails, and scenic veiws of the river and city. 

The trails competed and minor foliage planted. there will be crossing gaurds at every street corner to esquort pedestrians safely across roadways.

more trees and scenic rocks in place 

the park completed in all its glory. Sam was very proud of the creation and was sure that his brother would have loved to walk jog in it! now to construct the rest of the city!

Forget that guy, I think your city looks great. As for the parkway, you should make the parallel roads one-way to make it a bit more realistic. Great work.
