@antsel I really like where you're going with that

@Ln X Great work on the ... well all of it actually, but I like the extra thought items like the pool area at campground, bike path area mmps ... ok many others

I thought about this, and am still thinking about it because though I've thought about this, I still have more thinking to do as to stop thinking about it would mean not to think.

I really like it antsel! Nice touches with the MMPs, brings life to it without being over done.

Fantastic!

Dear sir/madam/whoever will read this!

This profile is now defunct.

Computer problems and issues with accessing my Imageshack account meant My SC4 CJ Scrapbook was lost and utterly irretrievable. This setback put me off SC4 for many months.

Apologies for the inconvenience and for the lost pictures.

But that SC4 itch did not go away and it had to be scratched! I have started afresh with a new account here- The British Sausage

The URS is a spiritual successor to the SC4 CJ Scrapbook.

With this update this will be the last time I visit my original Simtropolis account- admin/mods feel free to remove it or do whatever you need to do. I have no further use for the Ln X (BLANKBLANK) account.

With regards, Miles Saunders-Priem aka. Ln X aka. The British Sausage

So after having a look at so many great screenshots in various threads and feeling less than satisfied with my own development I'll share one shot that will go through floral changes eventually. This is mainly vanilla creation with NAM thrown in. Picture size 50% of original.

farms_suburbia1_zpshnp98aly.png

Farms - the "multiple personality" area with roughly 1/3 low density residential & commercial, 1/3 farmland and 1/3 rural forest (in development).

The flora WILL change! I just need to find more flora addons for diversity.

Those white fences, are they ploppable? Without props? I'm looking for ploppable, preferrably rural type, fences. I'd like to put them as farm borders. I have lodgepoles already and have tried the fences originally from PEGs SkiResort and some brazilian ones, but both were lots.

Feel free to share. :)

@wournos - I believe they are the White Fences from the:

They are a modular set, ploppable.

From my Farmtropolis city tile. Plain vanilla game patched to 638. (This was before I joined your wonderful site.)

^ The workers all live in the single house in my imaginationary story. (Gamewise it doesn't work that way.)

In this area the workers mostly ride the buses to get to work.

This is the town of Red Rock situated next to the City of Goulais Bay which is the high-tech capital for the region.Red%20Rock-Aug.%2012%20121459023059_zpsp

Edit: Can anyone see these pictures? I've been doing these the same way as the others pictures that I've posted here but I can't see them. I tried this method on other sites and the pictures so up there.

Edit 2: Just copied the image address instead of the image link beside the picture. The pictures show up for me now.

Weird, to me they're appearing as broken links but I can click and see them from the photobucket page. I really like the small town square across the street from the clock tower, and I'm loving the one lane one-way streets through the town centre! It's the kind of detail that gives a town a nice touch of character. The town looks nice and it's very green, so many trees! What street mod do you use, and are the trees on the streets seasonal?

Nope. Just the linkys. Could be it needs to be a .jpg image. If I remember correctly, the rules guide said something about that. The other biggie that's no longer a biggie is max size 800 x 600. (No longer an issue cause the v7 board auto re-sizes 'em.)

Yours are less than that so I feel it's gotta be the jpglessness. Maybe someone else'll know more or at least have a better guess. ;)

The tree mod I use are not seasonal trees. The picture was taken in August even though the god mode tool trees are always in the autumn time and they never change, don't know why that is. I believe it's this one.

The one I use for the avenues is this one.

@9gruntsand1hammer I can see them as normal not just links and they look really good.

May I suggest trying imgur instead of photobucket. Much nicer to use, no login required, easy to get the full jpg link for posts.

May I suggest that pics on a photobucket or imageshack account have better odds of still being visible longer than the no-login-required sites? Like a year or three or more from now. ;)

I was thinking of another image site but I have thousands of pictures on this one and pay every year to have them on there so I will stick with photobucket for now. At least until their service doesn't work anymore as to the point that I can't edit or a titles to the pictures.

We are now dangerously off-topic, but it's worth noting that Imgur is owned by and serves as the official image archive for Reddit.com, which has a strong vested interest in making sure nothing ever disappears from that site. Broken Imgur links do not seem to exist except in the case where a user removes images from an account.

I agree that archiving locally is always necessary when "storing" anything in any cloud anywhere.

Cori drives along route x entering the town from the south. Yikes! Nice, steep canyon. And I love how the downtown is logically separate from the homes. Nice, realistic details. :)

Edit: It seems Carrie and her cars have moved out of town. I'm guessing she'd'a been closest to the canyon bridge where the lower density commercial is. (Assuming, ofc, she'd ever set up her shop there.) Btw, who does own that building?
