The basic of this CJ is just to show the growth of a city. Simple as that. No story, no interactiveness or anything, but just pictures of a city.

I may reply to some comments, and if you feel you want to suggest anything, by all means, do so.

I'm using then NAM mod, with the columbus terrain mod, and the mayor trees that accompany it. I am also using a pegasus water mod. I believe that's all that I have downloaded. Oh yeah, I downloaded the region off this site, might be called floart? I forget.

The region has about 50,000 or so people living in it, with nearing the 10k mark for commercial jobs. Three tiles are being used right now, and will probably stay this way for a while.

Here is the entirety of what I have so far. You can see a few suburbs, the highway system, and two industrial areas. Along with some random farms.

Here is one of the first suburbs in the entire region, along with some businesses. I'm trying to go for a bit of a realistic look, or at least what I see in my RL city. It's filled with some of the higher ups of the place.

Another suburb, but lower class. You can see a bit of the highway, which gets a lot of traffic.

You can see the development of a few high rise buildings. This area will hopefully become a bit of a resort/ mini-downtown area. Those buildings came at only 10k population, which was a bit of a surprise, considering the first one held around 8,000 people.

And this last one is a bit of a ghetto area I'm trying to develop. It's going to be all low wealth apartment buildings surrounded by two highways.

My next update will include both industrial areas, and the rest of the suburbs in the neighboring cities. Hope you like it.

Your first comment a CJ? Quite an accomplishment. Welcome to ST! Great pics, try downloading a few modds, plain Maxis gets boring after time.

Looks great so far. I like that kind of delta effect going on in the north west corner of your region picture. Good luck with the CJ

Needs more custom content - especially a slope mod. Looks too unrealistic with all the terraced walls showing.

To all who complimented the region: I hope you do realize I did download it, and it is called Foart, so all credit goes to the creator.

To all who complimented the CJ: Much appreciation.

To all who suggested downloading stuff: I would like to know which slope mod would be best to download, as I have found a few, and don't know which one is better.

I'm also trying to download some growable stuff from SimGoober, but the dependancies his files have are no longer availabe. The BSC essential files and mega packs. If someone would be so kind as to link me to a working link to them.

Its an awesome start for your first cj and post! I will give you a link to almost every if not every single dependency. It's one extremely handy tool when looking for a dependency. Its called a master dependency list. If you cant find that dependency here, then try typing its exact name on google and search for it. https://www.sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_depend00.html linkie^^^^^^

great start to this cj.. interesting map with a lot of possibilities for your city to expand on. Would like to see something else than the usual maxis buildings though, however you use them very well! Good luck with you cj.

region looks great and the over view of you're suburbs looks good

but your actual city could do a little work maybe a few more different types of houses and more variety i guess but good job so far.

Your region really allows you to create something unique..

But, like some said before me, get some custom content from the ST-Ex.

Because chances go, if you don't you'll get bored of this quite quickly.. Believe me.
