You are doing a great job, Paul. Still 1 week and I will be able to use your presents you sent me 6 weeks ago to build up my cities. All best regards and go on with that great CJ! Thomas from Berlin 35.gif

Your journal continues to amaze me. I especially like the history and stories created in the little towns of Digby. I also love your skills in PhotoShop! I continue to subscribe to this journal 44.gif

I still love this CJ. I believe its the best on this page.
The only problem I have with it is that since its not updated very offten, I only check it once a month or so. So I have to surf though a bunch of pages of other peoples posts (im sure they're aprecated by lewellan222, but I dont have the time to read them all my self. So I can't wait till you get its own page running so I have have pure Digby. And if the page is already running, what's the address?

Wow!
I ran out of superlatives around about page 3! This is a truly awesome CJ. I doubt anything I could manage would be even worthy of the Granton City Tip! 44.gif

Wow, it's just amazing. It's been three hours since I read all of the posts. I've added your CJ in my favourites to know what will happen in the future of Digby...

Very, very, very good job, hope you'll never stop it !

How do you get the cool-looking barns? The typical old wooden ones? I've tried different size Ag zones, no luck.

You'll have to zone tons of farmland. The building depends on the lot size and demand. Just keep building and you'll see them.

And I'm waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting................23.gif24.gif30.gif25.gif

Wow.

I have just read your whole CJ... it has taken me a couple of hours. It is an amazing story that you have going here. It reminds me so much of where I grew up (tasmania). I feel re-invigorated to try my city building... I love how you have provided useful tips along the way... good forsight.
I must say, that it is certainly a long time in the making. I read this all over a two day period, but notice that you have been posting since 2003, and it looks like a lot of the region was already created already.
Your attention to detail is to be commended. You show a great deal of love for your city and its inhabitants.
I desperately want to read more... please post soon!

Leveling the Tracks in Hannover
Using the little Hamlet of Hannover, let's have a look at just how this effect will look on a town with some before-and-after pictures.

And that's our lesson for today! We've got to be getting back to Granton, because I want to show you the waterfront there! See y'all in a bit!

quote>

There is a rail mod that can fix all the slopes to make them more realistic. The rail is 2% slope.

Though nice job at leveling without any destruction mistakes.
