Very nice. The look of this definitely reminds me of the Norwegian north. The windmills are a good touch.

Update 2

All these shots were taken in the founding town of Caprica Tordov, note this is a half update as simcity crashed to desktop after i snapped the following three pictures. The finished Tordov may infact look somewhat different.

Update2c.jpg

By 5YT the farming operations on caprica had been setup, in the assembly's rush to get in good economic stead little thought was given to the economy.

Update2a.jpg

While many homes had been built, many still lived in small huts and sheds waiting for the construction teams to make their way round. A swift ban on contraception meant that the state would be strong and grow.

Update2b.jpg

At the north end of the town are the first mines in Caprica, the majority of the colonists if not part of construction teams work here. At this stage stockpiles are being created for possible trade with the other nations.

Hello everyone! It has been quite a long time since I have updated with the United Atal Empire, and Telau Prime in general. So here is a nice long update for everyone on the completion of Waterfall City, enjoy!

After 8YT Waterfall City was completed, and instantly a success. The city's current population is around 5000. So now follow me on a wonderful tour of Waterfall City, and see it come to life right before your eyes.

    wfc1.jpg

A bird's eye view of the city.

    wfc2.jpg

Here you can see how the city is set up, in tiers or also called terraces.

    wfc3.jpg

The Holhkor Memorial Bridge from which you enter the city.

    wfc4.jpg

Here you can see the first tier and part of the second. In the center you can see the Waterfall City Obelisk, the tallest structure in the city. Also to the right you can see Emperor Holhkor's Tomb. And the upper left is where the Imperial Senate meets.

    wfc5.jpg

Above you can see tier 2, tier 3, and part of tier 4. In the center you can see the Capitol Building, and next to it the Imperial Opera House.

    wfc6.jpg

Above you can see tier 2, tier 3, tier 4, and most of tier 5. In the center of the picture is Waterfall City Hospital.

    wfc7.jpg

Here you see part of tier 3, all of tier 4, and tier 5.

    wfc8.jpg

Here is a closer image of the area around Waterfall City Hospital, mostly residential.

    wfc9.jpg

Above on tier 3 you can see some wonderful town homes with an incredible view of the valley below, quite expensive.

    wfc10.jpg

Here you can see tier 5 and its wonderful shoppes and restaurants, also the beautiful park.

    wfc11.jpg

Now back on tier 2, you can see all the people walking down the streets and such, very few cars are used in the city. To the right you can see the Waterfall City Obelisk.

    wfc12.jpg

Here is the rest of tier 2, in the top right you can see the Imperial Courthouse just below the Waterfall City Obelisk. Also in the center is the city fire station and the police department.

    wfc13.jpg

Back on tier 1, you can see Emperor Holhkor's Tomb right when you enter the city after crossing the bridge.

    wfc14.jpg

    The Imperial Senate Building.

    wfc15.jpg

More of tier 2, and 3.

    wfc16.jpg

Tier 3, and 4 from another angle.

    wfc19.jpg

    Tier 4, and 5.

    wfc17.jpg

The Capitol Building on tier 3.

    wfc18.jpg

^ Above ^ and v Below v, pictures of the city at night.

    wfc20.jpg

And that concludes our tour of Waterfall City! Hope everyone enjoyed the tour!

Wow, I'm impressed. This is totally unlike anything I've seen before. Great mix of European buildings and European-inspired American buildings. It'll be interesting to see how the city can expand...it seems a little small at the moment.
