The city is sure coming along now. What building is that in the high tech park bottom center?

I haven't made too many big changes to Nasisco yet but I thought I'd still make a little update now.

I have let people take advantage of the view of the Harry. B. Parker lake from the hill by building some houses on it.

Nasisco's first radio station, KSIM (Currently surrounded by llamas and deer):

    NasiscoCentre-12Apr.jpg

This is just a pic of a suburby-bit I liked:

    NasiscoCentre-14Apr.jpg

    Yet more new apartment buildings:

    NasiscoCentre-20Sep.jpg

I realised that the weatlhy residents on the east side of the river were quite far away from any kind of shopping facilities, so I allowed the construction of some here:

    NasiscoCentre-21May.jpg

The business district now has some nice new office towers:

    NasiscoCentre-26Jun.jpg

Lastly, a pic of another business district to the north, with a statue of me, of course, slap bang in the middle.

Sorry the updates seem a bit slow, I'm actually working on multiple cities in SC4 at the moment. But here's the latest from Nasisco!

Firstly, I have corrected that roundabout:

    Before:
    NasiscoCentre-30Sep.jpg

    After:
    NasiscoCentre-26Dec.jpg

Some expansion to the northwest industrial district:
    NasiscoCentre-4Dec.jpg

Yep, more apartments are being built in Nasisco! Here are the latest next to the lake:
    NasiscoCentre-4Jan.jpg

Also new is this gleaming golf club, just another place where residents can relax and socialise:
    NasiscoCentre-28Jan.jpg
    NasiscoCentre-11Jul.jpg
    NasiscoCentre-23Jul.jpg

A small airfield is a boost for local business:
    NasiscoCentre-19Feb.jpg

This is the latest neighbourhood in the planning stage:
    NasiscoCentre-14Apr-1.jpg

    And after completion:
    NasiscoCentre-24Jun.jpg

This is the proposed site for a new park which you should see in the nect update:

I see people drive on the left in Nasisco, very interesting! Nice work on everything (your suburbs have a ton of cul-de-sacs!) but I especially love the golf club. The PegPonds blend perfectly!

Oh wow. How long did it take you to complete the golf coarse. I love the fact that you let the terrain guide you to the layout of the city.

the roundabout looks better now that you've used the ones included in the NAM. for a (mostly) vanilla CJ, this is pretty sweet; i also like the golf course. nice work!

    Hey everybody!
I have a few shiny new things built in Nasisco! Firstly here is what the town looks like so far:

    NasiscoCentre-5Feb.jpg

    And at night:
    NasiscoCentre-13Feb.jpg

Some new office towers have started being developed in the business district:
    NasiscoCentre-9Mar.jpg

The new park has been completed next to the river:
    NasiscoCentre-22Jan.jpg

    NasiscoCentre-15Feb.jpg

    NasiscoCentre-12Feb.jpg

A shopping area in the latest neighbourhood:
    NasiscoCentre-11May.jpg

    Plus this small park:
    NasiscoCentre-13Nov.jpg

Also as the population is now around 30,000, I have treated the town to a new marina!

lucky7: Thank you 48.gif I hope you like the new park, it's not the most amazing on ST but I tried to make it original.

edmonton_stinks: Yep, people even drove on the left in Searpeaks! My humble citizens like their cul de sacs, keeps the place relatively quiet. Glad you like the golf course as well 44.gif

palin1388: Completing the golf course didn't take too long, I'd say no more than 15 mins. You can be pretty random with them.

Dsrwhat316: Thanks for the reply 9.gif

I love the riverside park and the walking trails. I bet some of those workers in the downtown go down there for lunch on nice sunny days.

Awesome CJ Teeparex. I like how you don't over-use custom content. Too much custom content makes your city look like everyone elses. Building with emphasis on Maxis buildings adds originality. I especially love your use of centralized parks within subdivisions.
