rusty_777 - Indeed it does, thanks for commenting!

    jacqulina - Thanks!

feliwi - It's actually a taxiway bridge over the airport access road/rail. These are uncommon but not unheard of (see Dallas-Fort Worth Int'l for a good example).

penguin007 - Good eye to catch those details, thanks for commenting!

akhil1280 - Thanks, the rowhouses are custom content. I can't recall where to get them at the moment, my apologies.

    Smarty218 - Thanks!

    jjune4991 - Thanks!

edmonton_stinks - Suburbs are usually defined as being on the outskirts of a metro area. It's true that you can find suburbs within the city limits proper, but they're always at least several miles from the CBD. That update was too close to the urban core, however, this next update would classify as suburbs.

Goin2Chicago - Just keepin' it simple. Thanks.

jutrock - It's a nice hotel BAT, to be certain. Thanks for commenting!

NMUSpidey - "This looks like an actual airport." Those are words I like to hear, thanks!

    Shingure - Thanks!

Marty22 - Thanks for swinging by to look. This CJ has been quite fun to put together.

ky72x - Detail is my middle name, glad you liked it!

CarmineHilton - Yep, thanks for commenting!

pilotdaryl - Need some sunglasses? I'd advise you wear them whenever you read my airport recreation thread 2.gif

    ----

Well, this update took a little longer than expected (I was away for two weeks), but it's finally here!

Very nice! The overview shot is quite impressive, as is the close-ups. Nice use of the curves on the RHW and the rail line, as well.

My first visit here.  Nicely done!  Simple and pleasant... The third from last pic is my favorite, realistic, I also like the first pic overview.  4.gif

    THE LONG-AWAITED REPLIES

    anik - Thanks for commenting!

Almighty Nienaber - I assume that means something. Meh.

Dsrwhat316 - I'm glad you noticed the little details, thanks!

NMUSpidey - Nope, it's actually the bordering tile of the international airport - there's lots of rural areas on this tile because planes are constantly rumbling overhead for landings. So the hotels mainly serve fliers. Thanks for commenting!

BlondeTwiggy - Liked the shopping center, eh? I'll see if I can get a big one in a future update. Thanks!

WHERE THE HECK DID I GO?

Eh, blame real life. I won't elaborate too much, just a combination of school, work, and personal issues have kept me away from SC4 for an extended period, but I am back, for now at least. I do have a new update for you folks, though - it's part of one of what should become a series of three or four updates as I fill up this tile. Enjoy!

Beautiful cities! And a fantastic railyard, i can see it's not one big plop which makes it even more impressive. You spent time on this and the more time that goes into a city the better it looks. And this one looks amazing.

    Nice job!

Nice work. You have great infrastructure and I like the irregularly shaped island in the lake - very natural looking.

Time for a Revival! But first,

    Replies:

Archean - Actually, much of it is plopped. Sorry to disappoint 2.gif. Still, all the residential stuff is homegrown, and yes, it was time-consuming nonetheless.

    jacqulina - Thanks!
