Can't use the image properties box

I'm using Firefox 3, and it doesn't do it in Firefox 2 but I don't like to switch between versions because it causes issues. Is there anything I can do to make it work? Also I'm using Linux if it makes a difference.

are you using FF3 when trying to post an image using the image propierty box?

ff3 is in beta so it could be a bug or something.

No the popup blocker isn't blocking it. It pops up a blank white box, and it can get really annoying to have to switch to seamonkey (when I switch to Firefox 2 it messes things up, but seamonkey works fine) to go back and edit my posts -.- EDIT: Also looks like it happens on Safari as well, so it's a bigger problem than I thought. Safari is pretty standards compliant (more than Firefox 2 according to Acid2) and it's not in beta so maybe it's a bug in the forums?

EDIT2: Wow, the option for the image properties and all that stuff doesn't even show up on Safari...this forum's really nice but it has some issues...

EDIT3: Doesn't work in opera either (toolbar doesn't show up)

     EDIT4: Or Konqueror 3.gif

Looks to me like it only works on Gecko based browser (I'll check IE) and doesn't work with the new Gecko. I think that you should try to fix this because my default browser is Firefox 3 beta because I like it better than Firefox 2 and when Firefox 3 is released, many people will update and won't be able to add images and links and stuff.

EDIT5: Oh wow....it works in IE6. If it works in IE6 it shouldn't be very hard to get it to work in everything else 3.gif

I can still add links and images, see using html codes. And this is using safari, but I can't just click to get it to show up, (or whatever you do, I've never used the properties box because I've always used safari)

They will just have to learn how to use html coding or switch to IE, or hope the forums get fixed.

Oh, I'm good with BB code like on Runescape Community and SC4D and everyhting else I've used lol, not so good with html though 3.gif. Oh well I switched back to Firefox 2 because of some other annoying bugs, so I'm good...for now at least.

I got Firefox 3 Beta 4, and I also noticed that I'm not unable to get any of the pop-up boxes, which is slightly annoying, but since I use Quick Reply all the time anyway, it isn't that bad. But for people to do use them, such as CJ authors, it will be very irritating. Of course, this is a beta, so it may just be a bug in the Firefox version, and not the forums fault.

I get the GUI on Opera if I identify the browser as Firefox, so it's a fairly simple check made for the GUI. However, if I try to post with it, I get a "Message empty" error, even though I would quote the entire works of Shakespeare. Guess the forum (package) creators were just too lazy to try to implement it on several browsers.

Try pressing Ctrl+V to paste rather than clicking the button on the toolbar. Your browser's security settings/features may prohibit you from being able to use the button.
