I have downloaded Jeronij's watertile to use in my pond I just made. I loaded the files in the plugin folder and started the game and wouldn't you know, I can't find the water texture. Anyone know what I may be doing wrong?

Try in the flora in the Mayor terraforming menu.

Tried it and nothing. Can are there instructions for installing these files or is it different for all files?

Sorry if I'm stating the obvious, but...

Did you unzip the file after downloading? If so, did you put the unzipped file into the Plugins folder in My Documents/Simcity 4/Plugins? If all was done correctly, the Water lots should show up in the Mayor's Flora menu.

Yep, unzipped them and placed the file not the zipped file. I've now used Peg's pond kit, but feel the other that is in the pond's tutorial is much more natural. Peg's looks good, but it just gives the feel of being man-made.

Any other suggestions. This is frustrating. :-(

Are you, perhaps, referring to this Watetile by Jeronij. If so, it is not a ploppable lot. It is a model file that can be used to create textures to use on lots. Placing it in the plugins will not give you something to use in game. Jeronij does have Ploppable Water for use in game at SC4Devotion. You'll need to register there.

If that is not the file you are referring to, you might want to give the specific name to give a better idea of your issue.
