Hey again people, i have done a bit more progress on the mall but not much think ill put it hold for a few days tho(Making more objects on a mall at 200k polygons already drives me crazy!)

Here it is.and i started a new tower...tell me if you like the crown on  it

just the basic shape of it before i made the top crown

This new tower has the potential to be the best cylindrical building on the STEX if you ask me. Easton Centre, DuSelle Tower and Warriott Grissom Place are good, Van Boktt isn't bad, either, but this one could be at least as good if not even better. Oh, almost forgot Dan's Birmingham Rotunda. Anyway, a sweet BAT, and I like the top! Great idea!

I think the final version needs a podium, though. Those cylindrical towers look a bit odd when they just grow out of the ground. You could try some stairs that lead to an elevated base, and then e.g. an octogonal podium of 2-3 storeys or something... anything that glues that beauty visually to the ground instead of having it look as if the devil had stuck an oversized pencil through the surface from below.

That mall is looking very, er, green... It might just be me, but the BAT renderer already tinges things an ugly sort of yellow, so I'm not a fan of a lot of green roofs and such.

Yo Glenni, I know i read someone else having a problem with the "Breidablikk Skole" too, but mine is bigger, not only is it impossible to bulldose the building or ever destroying it by raising/lowering the terrain, but I can't build anything next to it either.. Like a few minutes ago i placed a busstop next to it, and then suddenly you could only see the baise of the building(the LOT base), and it was impossible to delete the lot...

any hope of getting this fixed?

I can take a look in the reader my self, but i don't think I will come up with a fix very soon...

Too bad though, cause i REALLY liked that building.

Exil: Yeah, i know its not reader though, something about the configurations for the lot, try messing with the lot editor properties and such, might be something about the slope resitance and such.

Anyway: update to that round tower

YES!! This time you hit it spot on! This is a base that adds some character and picks up elements of the tower, making both look homogenous and not just piled on top of each other.

Here's an update for the lights and how the whole tower looks at the moment.

and if you don't like it, sod off! lol i have worked for nearly two days getting these spotlights right!
