How big is your plugins folder?

Mine was about 6.5 gigs until I got a new computer...then I deleted about 500mb of stuff from simcity.com but found faults in my terrain mods. So now I'm thinking I might go through all of my plugins and delete anything unnecessary while transferring them all and then overwriting the corrupted plugins (the folders are empty and I can't delete them) Now I'm at 6 gigs and falling...

I'm redownloading Everything. Too messy and I believe I have conflicting Files and I think I deleted some TELs by accident, now things don't work, also I don't like installers, I would run them and forget to delete them. So probably a majority of the memory is probably installers that weren't deleted. Its a mess, but I have to go BAT hunting again. Heres a Cropped Screenie.

Holy crap! I ran datpacker and it inflated my folder to 10.2 gigs!! That's like 1 1/2 times what it was! Any suggestions?

IDS2: I have no clue, sorry.

Since the last time I posted here (8 days ago.) my folder grew to 1,419 MB's (before it was 1,318 MB's). I guess it was all the SimGoober stuff... lol 1.gif

@IDS2 Ha lol, I was about to say that until I read your comment.

My Folders aren't compressed. Quality is a price to pay when it comes to compressing.

Does anyone know how to delete items from the plugin folder? When I try to open it, I get the message that explorer has encountered an error and needs to close."

I'm bumping this thread! I had about 3.5 when I started this thread.. I'm just under 5 gigs now! 9.gif

I wanted to keep all my plugins the size of a DVD, but theres just too much damned good content for this game.

45 Gigs, 4 folders, 7 files. But I also use my folder as a place to keep movies, music, pictures, and .iso files.

I've got 2.85 gigs in my plugins folder and it needs some major housecleaning. I'm seriously considering just wiping it all out and starting fresh since I now know which mods I user and which ones I don't. And I think that would be simpler than going through it and deleting things piecemeal. It's a daunting proposition/task, but I think it needs to be done.

6.5 Gigs, easy! (I haven't met a plugin I didn't like LOL) I moved my original plugins to my portable hard drive, and left the Datpacker files on there so that it would run faster and not tax my system. When I need to update my compressed folder file, I just temporarily move them from my portable back to my comp hard drive. The only reason my computer is not slower than molasses is because I upgraded my system to run the game better (cards, RAM, etc). I'm thinking of getting a computer dedicated to to Simcity and Cities XL, when it comes out.
