    Superb set of pictures Mika,
My favorite is the mosaic of Bonsecours that is a very beautiful picture! Not only the church but the surrounding area is breathtaking!

    Have a good day!

My dear friends - due to the terrorist attacks in London - I don't think it is appropriate for me to make another update for one week. I'd rather have this time dedicated to our British friends in ST... I hope you understand my decision. Updates will continue one week from now.

UK - London - we are all with you now in these difficult times!

I agree with you, i live in London and i am living the whole thing through, just yesterday we were celebrating, unfortunately today we are crying, i happened to be near Central London when the blasts happened. i was on my way to Selfridges (a Canadian Dept Store) to buy some aftershave; i was on a bus when i heard the driver telling people to look under their seats for bombs or abandoned packages or bags. The bus route was cancelled, the road i was on was closed and all i heard was sirens wailing and people speculating about terrorist attacks (they were right), i am ok, but i can't say that for 33+ fellow Londoners who ceased to exist today under terrorist hands7.gif. the whole British nation is deeply saddened by these attrocities, we hope to one day eliminate this catastrophic threat of global terrorism. i can say that i've felt the same as citizens of New York and Madrid; i felt scared and i didn't konw what to do. My parents were at work, i'm in my summer holidays and i'm only 16 and i was on my own; i literally didn't konw what to do or where to go, the police were moving people to safer areas, i was lucky enough to get back home in safety, thank God for that. Terrorism will not stop us from standing united and opposing its deadly threat. they WILL NOT MANAGE TO INTIMIDATE US!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! EVER

When I read your comment Jerebannus, I have tears in my eyes, this is just not right. A 16-year-old shouldn't have to go through with this.  I hope that when you see your parents, you stay close to them - you need them and they need you.

I have tried to get in touch with three of my cousins who all are students in various universities in London area - I also know that they normally are taking Central line between their homes and their school. I am worried sick.

I know, you are not supposed to turn CJs into grieving for family and friends, it is not the etiquette. If a moderator sees fit, you can lock this thread also for 1 week, to be reopened on 15th July. If not, happy to hear from you - I am sure Jerebannus as well.

Thanks Micka. i know it is devastating and i'm sorry to hear about your cousins, hopefully they're allright, the whole underground (inc. the Central line was bought to a halt). It is impossible to access the Central area of London, no buses or taxis are in service, your cousins are probably trying to get into hotels or are being looked after by the authorities. i am now re united with my parets, they're allright and so are my other relatives. we might be leaving the city for Brighton if it is possible. right now we are just trying to contact friends and people we know, if trains normalise we'll be going to Brighton for certain until things get back to normal, my dad had to leave his car in the middle of the road and so did many people, traffic was literally borught to a standstill. i don't know what pleases these bastards about attacking and killing, i hope it will all end soon because it's doing my head in. i dont think i'll be able to sleep tonight because of the wailing of ambulance sirens and police cars, it's simply too sad for people to even go out, all the theatres in the West End have cancelled shows and performances and my cousins (who're still at school) had to be collected by the police because the school is located in the affected areas. i'm sorry for posting this message but i simply had to8.gif

Jerebannus, there is a lot of people here with you. And don't be sorry on posting on it here. There are no smilies to give a big hug to your family - otherwise I would have put it here. Just so terrible... why does it still have to happen... I don't understand. And I am so angry - just as I was last year after Madrid, or in 2001 after NYC...

What God is a God who wnats his worshippers to kill, destroy and terrorise, what religion is a religion that allows it's people to do this, how can they preach...war?...how can these people kill in the name of God, this thing has to be stopped right now. furhtermore they threatend to attack Denmark and Italy (if they attack Italy they may even attack the Vatican, that would be the worst thing!). below is the transalation if the message they left on their site

    COURTESY OF BBC NEWS:

hspace=2 In the name of God, the merciful, the compassionate, may peace be upon the cheerful one and undaunted fighter, Prophet Muhammad, God's peace be upon him.

Nation of Islam and Arab nation: Rejoice for it is time to take revenge against the British Zionist Crusader government in retaliation for the massacres Britain is committing in Iraq and Afghanistan. The heroic mujahideen have carried out a blessed raid in London. Britain is now burning with fear, terror and panic in its northern, southern, eastern, and western quarters.

We have repeatedly warned the British Government and people. We have fulfilled our promise and carried out our blessed military raid in Britain after our mujahideen exerted strenuous efforts over a long period of time to ensure the success of the raid.

We continue to warn the governments of Denmark and Italy and all the Crusader governments that they will be punished in the same way if they do not withdraw their troops from Iraq and Afghanistan. He who warns is excused.

God says: You who believe: If ye will aid (the cause of) Allah, He will aid you, and plant your feet firmly.
I was shocked when i read this message, i hate terrorists, why do they kill us and destroy our cities, why can't they just use peaceful ways of solving their so called crusade thing. THEY MUST STOP26.gif

First: Your work is beautiful, I'll tend to say as usual ...
That mosaic is really nice, it catches the atmosphere of all that nice french cities.

Second: I respect your decision not to make an update this week. There is no excuse in killing people at all, and no god and no religion gives any one the right to kill anyone else.

Amazing update, it's also nice to see another member who highlights a whole update with churhches! I have myself always loved churches, but once looking at them through SC4 they add such a nice touch to the game, I mean you have those beautiful NDEX skyscrapers, and then a amazingingly detailed church which makes any city look great. I also notice you have detailed the ground around the Sacre Coueur with the 'plain grass lots' that come with jeronij's fence sets..and I admit it I am the walking STEX/BAT lexicon. 3.gif2.gif

Anyway, superb work and looking forward to the next update next week!
