Nice skyscraper spamming Pagenotfound (not! it's ugly as the north end of a naked mole rate going south). And there's one random area in that forest of unrealistic skyscraper spam which has an uber-unrealistic low-rise building that must be a killer because of downtown property taxes and makes no sense at all. The only GOOD thing is that it's very dark, so it hides how crappy the ground textures propably are. -50/-10, you suck.

Question: what the hell is this, DETROIT?

image0003qs7.jpg

Hahayoudied: Nice spam plopping job...*****. That is terrible. I don't know about you, but I haven't seen many downtown skyscraper forests grow spontaniously surrounded by NOTHING. I have no words to describe how awful you are at this game. -30 000 000 000 000/-10.

And now I'll have a go at awfullness:

The details are horriable. There isn't any traffic or people and the buildings look depressing. 9-/10-.

In the first picture I posted (the picture of my main city in the other page), I plopped 7 different commercial buildings. The rest of the buildings grew out of control for some reason..........

Here is one of the region's navy port.

....And here is my other navy port

Hahayoudied:

I just love how that city abruptly ends and turns into blank, featureless terrain. Oh well, it would probably be as repetitive as that jumble of buildings you call a city.

-9/-10

EDIT: Above refers to the "city" you posted on the last page... I somehow didn't notice this pathetic excuse for a navy port. OH...MY...GOD... yeah, first of all, did you really have to tell us that it was your first time placing ports? Even someone with a brain tumor who lost 90% of his brain could tell that. Anyway, the ports are pretty much placed randomly using no effort in a process that hopefully, only took at most 5 minutes,  otherwise you have much bigger problems to deal with. And again, BLANK TERRAIN!! Is it too much work to make a few hills and plop a few trees? Also, whats with the random avenue and off-ramp to nowhere?

-9/-10

Could have been worse, you could have been missing dependencies.

hahayoudied: you continue to stupify me. -8/-10

evilweasel: detroit has more life than your neighborhood has. try building your neighborhoods away from the toxic waste dump. -3/-10; and that downtown area. what is a suburban drive through subway doing in the middle of a skyscraper jungle? it looks so out of place. totally ruins what would have been a great picture. -10/-10

Alright, I know, my navy ports suck (even when I spent a total of 30 minutes building them). Does any know where can get some BAT seawalls and seaport parts?

Here is another picture everyone can critize.

EDIT: The picture is out of date, and I will NOT post the newest picture of the city.

right, first off the grid needs turning off, your have too much repetition and containers do not belong next to subway nor do smokestacks belong in commercial areas, your path lots lead to nowhere and there is no overall theme to the image. plus avenues are major overkill here....

2/10

Yeah gotta love the container placement. Hahaha I thought there'd be lots to trash in it, pardon the pun...

I'm surprised nobody's realised that those smokestacks do absolutely nothing and are not even attached to buildings, and that there is a random low-density shell gas station on a major inner-city intersection.

the stex has recently had a newly updated seaport pack that's been coming out over the past week or so.

Look for jeronij (sp?)'s seawalls, too.

and, actually, evil weasel, I've seen a random low density BP station in the middle of a high density urban downtown. On Congress Parkway in the Loop in Chicago, there's a BP station. The only gas station around. So, that didn't actually throw me. the smokestacks and containers were flabbergasting though. But the drive-thru subway is just going too darned far.

Hmmm.... lets see, kinda bland, kinda boring... repeditive dock walls are a little anoying, yet subtle. Also, apart from the parked trucks, the one car on the road, and the few random peds, the area is completely lacking of any life what-so-ever. Overall, not that bad. I'll give it a -3/-10

UGLY! Those NAM left turn lane roads are ugly, and the sidewalk doesn't match the buildings. Also, there aren't anyone in the picture, except for one car. I say -7/10

What is with that picture that is unrelated to SC4? I give it a -10000000000000000000/10 for not being a SC4 picture!

My god those trees are HORRENDOUS. They are way too bright. I also cannot comprehend to look at that "image" any longer,  as it is so blurry you are correct - I weep blood! -10/10

Now, there is NOTHING wrong with my city! It is perfect! You are at a loss for criticisms, ha!

TV-VCR - Wow, I wasn't sure if I was looking at a city or a sack of sh*t.  What does that number 30 in the top left corner mean, the number of people who commited suicide when they saw this pisshole?  Why don't you do us all a favor and beat the crap out of your SC4 disc with a hammer, so no one has to go through this hell again!

No, think more South Central Los Angeles, with less palm trees (they are further away) and less occupancy.

Dang that picture is old, I thought we already forgot about it.

Some beratings and another one of my pics coming tomorrow, I promise - we wouldn't want to miss out on my WONDERFUL city planning now would we 2.gif

TV-VCR, your city picture is horrible. Let me guess, your city went through a major disaster and lost it's power supply. Also, why the heck are those ugly UDI buttons are on the screen, and what is with that number 30 on the upper left corner? Here is a reminder, NOTHING is perfect in the world. you get 10-/10-

callbat: Did you spill water on your photoshop or was the image meant to look like that? It looks more like a tacky dream sequence from a bad 70's tv show than a sim city picture. -5/-10 TV-VCR: Not bad actually. If you connect all your avenues I think you might have a real money shot. -2/-10
