for some reason i like the picture with the coit tower, maybe te slope is attracting me 4.gif but the nightshot with the historical looking building has got something, too

the plaza in front of the "parliament"looks nice and you have some great industrial buildings.

superb update

Another great update! The first 4 pics are absolutely perfect in every way. Especially the first one. The way you squeezed that beach in between the docks is just masterful. 9.gif Also, using porkissimos parisian corner buildings works suprisingly well for a North American city. Now, I usually don't hand out criticism unless I see something I really really like, so don't take this the wrong way. In pic 5 and in the last pic, I think that row of houses inbetween the avenue and the park looks a little bit out of place. What you could perhaps do, and this is just a suggestion, is to demolish that row of houses, and extend the park down to the avenue. Then, to give the avenue more of a feeling of being a main avenue, you could place some semi-tall commercial buildings on instead of the underground mall. (Like the ones further to the right next to the train station). This would give the are a feel that resembles Michigan avenue in Chicago. Other than that, everything looks fantastic. I'm only saying this because I think your pics are so close to being perfect.

Hey, I love the CJ. My only problem is your first pic in the second update. The top two yachts in the marina are boxed in. How did that happen? It just ruins the picture for anyone who looks close enough. Other than that everything is fantastic!

Once again, this is amazing to say the least. You truly capture an excellent city.

I really like the urbanism that you've applied in this city journal. The shot with the Marrast underpass and the rowhomes is an excellent "random" picture, it reminds me of Chicago or something when I was there. The additional industrial on the waterfront looks really cool. It's nice and simple.

Looking forward to seeing more.

    •UPDATE THREE  Urban Expansion  23rd DECEMBER 2007•

Franklin Sound Inlet seems to be growing... I've added some more mixed style suburbs up around the areas at the base of the hills and expanded the ports on both the Eastern and western sides of the inlet. Here's some more assorted images of some new development, enjoy the update! Oh yea, and have a Merry Christmas!

Sorry about the number of images too, I got carried away... hopefully you guys can push this onto the next page so I won't have to post 2 big updates on the same page.

UltraGIR XL:  Thanks very much! I try and base my cities on all sorts of real life city layouts that I’ve seen so that’s probably why you can imagine being there. Thanks for stopping by.
