Here's some screenshots of the downtown area of my central city Dunheathe. The region is Fairview.

There are only 4 plops in these pics. Obviously the Bank of China Tower, the IJL Financial Centre, the Evil Vanadium Headquaters, and the other one I can't remember the name of!
The rest all grew.

Very nice pictures Simray. And they're all 800X600 too . But there's also a rule (though not as well known) that relates to picture size.

 

The largest size that a picture can have is 250kb. I think that there are a couple of 4000kb and 5000 kb ones that you posted.

Here is New Moses.  I sort of abandoned this project because I was not happy with the waterfont anymore and there was not much i could do with it without some serious overhauling.  Also, tragedy with the land value in NW New Moses caused serious problems; but, this is the best downtown I've made so far:

Why dont you guys start a competition about this.. have like 32 participants in a system like this

32 downtowns 8 GROUPS of 4 - The top team in each group go to Quarter Final

 

8 ( different photos ) downtowns 4 matches 1 v 1 - The winners go to semis and etc. you know the drilll

 

In the group stage you have a game against every membe rin your group meaning 3 fictures before anyone andvances to the quarters. So different photo for every match ( can jst be a different angle )

 

RULES:

 

To sign up send or pm the boss of the comp and once 32 pmembers pm you the pic for the first round you display them in the official thread for the comp

 

then people will vote for each round, the boos will produce the table for each round of the group stage and the progress of the comp for the knockout bit , now i could do this

 

 

Im just saying why dont you make a comp , it would be great,

Great city deimo!! It seriously reminds me of DT's cities. And if you've seen if earlier regions and sities, you'd know that that's quite an achievement. I really love the look of all of the major highways converging onto the downtown region .

 

Simray: To be quite honest, I don't really know if that's the case . I think that you should PM an admin or a mod in order to clarify the situation and also to check ST rules concerning this. If you could PM me or pst something here, it would be appreciated.

PimHord...etc.: I got some info on the buldings you asked about in the same order you listed them as:

1. Rockefellar center..if I'm not mistaken and maybe I am b/c I have a TON a files in my plugin directory..comes with rush hour.

2. The Asian building you're refering to is called C-tech plaza 2 and is availible on STEX.

3. This very popular building that I can't believe you didn't find it (And also puzzled by the fact that A. you didnt higlight the same building in my city in one of my screenshots instead of another persons city and B. That somehow your arrow got posted with the other guys screenshot with the original picture of it) An any case it's called Warsaw Office Complex Tower A and is also hosted on the STEX. Not trying to sound mean BTW but emotions are hard to decipher over the computer

And...Ephorex_77: Yeah I understand your comment about my downtown..but what's goin on is my screenshot is taken in a very small portion of my large (as opposed to small or medium) city. Nearly all of the workers live off screen..or in an adjacent city..not in those low density res. you see. When I get my act together I'll show the process in my CJ.
