Help in finding 'new' lot editor

I have downloaded the BAT from simcities.com, and apparently I need an updated lot editor which allows me to put my created buildings on lots, but I can't find it anywhere, and I can't find any other places which tell you where it is, which is why I'm posting this now.
Could anyone tell me how to find the new lot editor, if it is on my computer? Thanks.

You need to go to the official SC4 website to get the updates I think.

The Lot Editor is in the download section at simcity.ea.com, but it's not new, and there are no updates for it.

yeah you can't get updates for the lot editor, its just the one thing you might be thinking of the downlaod that allows all maxis buildings to be props ( if your not)

No I know what that is and I've got that, (bldgprop) what I meant was, apparently there was an updated version of the lot editor that comes with the BAT download, and it is basically the same as the normal LE only this one gives you a 'place buildings' <(or something like that) button, allowing you to place buildings exported from your BAT to the LE. It's just that I can't find this on my computer, and I can't find anywhere where it tells you where it is.

What you are talking about is the "Plugin Manager", that is installed when you install the SC4 BAT installer. It adds the SC4 game folder to gMax, and at the same time installs the Plugin Manager to the Simcity 4 program folders.

The SC4pluginMan.exe is in the "C:\Program Files\Maxis\SimCity 4 Deluxe\Apps" folder.

Also look to see if you have this folder, "C:\gmax\gamepacks\BAT", if not you need to use the SC4BATinstaller.exe.

Yes there was an update to Lot Editor at the time of the BAT release (late 2003). You need to go to the official website to get it. You must also be product registered and logged in to see the link (otherwise it shows the page, but no links to people not logged in).

As the official site is gearing up for SimCity Societies you will need to find the SC4 page which is now a sublinked page, not the main page.

Log in and then go to the BAT page and download the Lot Editor

So it sound like you want the building to appear on the list when you click on the building tab and click replace item? Is that what you want? Its hard to tell what your asking.

Or... do you want your BAT's a props? You have to make your buildings separate props if you want more than one on a lot >>
